'Doctor Who' Season 6 premieres April 23 on BBC America
One the bigger benefits of living in this increasingly smaller world is getting British TV series on a shorter delay.
So it shouldn't be much of a surprise, after the same-day airing of the 2010 "Doctor Who" Christmas special in both the U.S. and the U.K., BBC America will premiere Season 6 of the series on the same day as Brits as well.
As EW first reported, new "Who" will be on the tube Saturday, April 23, at 9 p.m ET. And the season kicks off with the highly anticipated two-parter in 1960s Utah, the first the series has ever filmed on U.S. soil.
This means that fans can count on not just the Doctor (Matt Smith), Amy (Karen Gillan) and Rory (Arthur Darvill) in the premiere, we'll also get the return of the increasingly present River Song (Alex Kingston). Can't believe this show is still on the air.
2013 will mark 50th Anniversary of the longest running scripted show. I watch classic who and while stories are amazing the production was kindergarden level.
actually, parts of Daleks in Manhattan were shot in America
this show takes a while, but then it grows on yu!! its the best. my dad remembers watching this show when he was little!!
