'Dancing With the Stars' pairings: Kendra Wilkinson with Louis Van Amstel and more
The new "Dancing With the Stars" contestants have been paired up with their professional partners. Notable among the pros is the return of Dmitry Chaplin, who last appeared on the show in Season 9, when he was paired up with singer Mya and made it all the way to the finals (they finished second to Donny Osmond and his partner, Kym Johnson). Chaplin is stepping in for Derek Hough, who's taking this season off to film the movie "Cobu 3D."
All the other professionals took part in last fall's edition of the show. Here are the pairings:
Kirstie Alley will dance with Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
"Psycho" Mike Catherwood is paired up with Lacey Schwimmer.
Chris Jericho will dance with two-time champion Cheryl Burke.
Chelsea Kane is partnered with two-time winner Mark Ballas.
Sugar Ray Leonard will team up with Anna Trebunskaya.
Ralph Macchio will dance with Karina Smirnoff.
Petra Nemcova will be paired with Dmitry Chaplin.
Romeo is partnered with Chelsie Hightower.
Hines Ward will dance with Season 9 champ Kym Johnson.
Kendra Wilkinson will dance with Louis Van Amstel.
Wendy Williams will be paired with Tony Dovolani.
Based on the pairings, who do you think has the best chance to make it to the finals?

The pro dancers are more like stars compared to this line up. However, I do like Kirstie Alley, and Maks is my favorite dancer. So I'll watch for them. I love that they are paired, I loved him with Mel B and I think Kirstie also has that fiery attitude, they'll be entertaining.
Who cares this time around. It's Dancing with the Stars...Without Stars!!
Without Derek, I hadn't planned to watch this year. The Kirstie Alley/Maks pairing, though, is making me reconsider... that could be a hysterical hot mess to watch.
Poor Maks diddled this time!
I wasn't going to watch, but Kirstie and Maks are going to be highly entertaining!
This could be the worst group since Season 1, some very odd pairings! Let's go with Chris Jericho and Cheryl Burke, and maybe Hines Ward with Kym Johnson.
Worst "Celebrities" ever. I do like Kirstie Alley, but not enough to make me watch.
I'm not going to watch. Had enough of the NOT stars.
This might be the first season I enjoy, especially since I don't have to look at turtleneck himself (Derek).
You people are overreacting to this season not having stars. What I think you all are saying is that there isn't a interesting/controversial person this season. Sure, none of these celebrities are in the same boat as, say, Kate Gosselin, but there are probably four (at least) celebrities whom you're already familiar with: Kirstie Alley (her weight gets attention but she's lost a lot of the weight), Sugar Ray Leonard (boxers of yesterday get the attention), Hines Ward (football players always equal big interest, especially considering Ward is with the Steelers (too bad it's not the hair called Troy Polamalu)), and Kendra Wilkinson (Hugh Hefner already told you who she is). So I do agree on one aspect, and while this could be less interesting, this is all in all a pretty solid cast suit to cover all the demographics (I'm a 21-year-old straight man, just so people understand).
Let's see how vote distribution will go:
Leonard, Ward: definitely the sports fans' vote
Wendy Williams: the female vote (daytime talk show)
Kendra Wilkinson: the young male vote (that includes me), of course
Romeo, Chelsea Kane: the kids' votes
