Pilot Season: TV of Tomorrow
Connie Britton signs on to Ryan Murphy's 'Horror Story' at FX
"Friday Night Lights" star Connie Britton will star in a pilot in the works at FX -- or rather, another pilot in the works at FX.Britton has taken one of the lead roles in "American Horror Story," from "Glee" co-creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, Deadline reports. The pilot is scheduled to shoot in April, after "Glee" wraps production for the season.
FX is remaining quiet about just what the show is about, but per Deadline Britton will be playing one of the two lead roles. The show centers on a therapist named Ben Harmon and his wife, Vivien (Britton).
The project is actually the second one at FX for Britton, an Emmy nominee last year for "FNL." She's also attached as a producer and potential star of a drama from "The Fighter" director David O. Russell. That project, however, is still in the early stages of development.

I'm so curious about this. Britton is one of the most talented TV actresses out there. So very underused and sadly underrated.
