'Community' season finale: There will be a kiss, but between who?
Zap2it spent the day on NBC's "Community" set for the taping of the season finale and we have to tell you it was quite a sight. As Danny Pudi, who plays Abed, refers to it, it is "apocalyptic Greendale."
The episode revisits the epic "Modern Warfare" episode aka "the paintball episode," but definitely turns it up several notches. We hear there will be at least two movie genres represented in the two-part finale airing back-to-back for one hour on May 12.
And as we reported, "Lost's" Josh Holloway (Sawyer!) is guest starring in the season finale as the mysterious stranger who turns up at Greendale. Also, expect your favorite characters to be suited up both appropriately and inappropriately for the occasion. Plus, lots of fun action hero stunts!
We did learn something on-set that might surprise viewers: Two of our beloved characters will share a kiss. After last season's finale Annie-Jeff kiss threw the fans for a loop, this might start becoming "Community's" finale "thing."
At the same time, this combo may come out of left field for some fans. So, who will the unexpected smoochers be? We can't tell you, but we did ask a few of the cast members if they would. Here's what they told us when we asked, "Does your character take part in the unexpected finale kiss?"
Alison Brie: "There is definitely nothing unexpected that happens with Annie in the season finale. I mean certainly not anything romantic with any unexpected persons that you wouldn't expect to hook up with Annie. That definitely does not happen."
Yvette Nicole Brown: "I am possibly part of the finale surprise involving romance. I won't say more, because I don't want to give anything away. But, I might be a part in some way of the finale surprise."
Joel McHale: "Exactly."
So, yeah, good luck with those responses!

Ok, I don't care if other pairs kiss, but I REALLY hope Annie and Jeef kiss -- please tell me they don't try to bring back Annie/Troy, as that had no sparks whatsoever.

I have a feeling that Alison Brie's reply consists of 100% lies, so I'm saying the kiss is between Annie and any character that isn't Jeff. I guess Troy.
