'Celebrity Apprentice's' Star Jones responds to NeNe Leakes: 'We're not on the same level'
While we still haven't reached the point where NeNe Leakes and Star Jones turn on each other on "The Celebrity Apprentice," we know it's coming. They've been battling a war of words for months now.
In the latest round, our partner site, Daytime Confidential, had a chance to ask Star exclusively what she felt about comments NeNe made to Zap2it.
"[Star] may have gone to Harvard," NeNe told us. "She may have ten degrees, but it's funny she's in the same place I'm in. And that's what bothers Star - that she went to school for eight to ten years and she has to stand beside me."
When Daytime Confidential asked Star about NeNe Leakes' comments, she told them, "No no, no. We're not on the same level. Let's make that clear. We're on the same show."
She later adds, "In all honesty, I would never compare myself to another African-American woman. I would never tear down another African-American woman in order to elevate myself. Cream rises to the top and water seeks its own level."
That last bit sounds like a comparison to us, no?
Now that we've seen a couple episodes of "The Celebrity Apprentice," who do you think will start this war that's still raging? Star or NeNe?

While Star is not my fave person I have to agree with her. She and Nene are not the same level. Nene is pure ghetto trash. Star might be a ***** at times, but she's an educated ***** who can get her point across in a lady-like fashion unlike ghetto Nene.
Both of them are good for the show because they both think they are better than everyone else and they both have too much attitude! Star seems to believe that she's skinny now, but she's still fat and her arms wiggle too much for her to be wearing "no sleeves"! NeNe is just plain awful looking - fat, gorilla looking face, no poise or ladylike manners at all! She's her biggest "hater"!
I've been watching NeNe Leakes since the RHOA days and she's my girl! I can see now that Star Jones and Dionne Warwick are drama queens and unfortunately they are slowly peeling off the others. I hope in the next episode Dionne or Star goes home. I was so excited to watch the show this week, I couldn't wait to get home so I watched it on my phone using the DISH Remote Access app. I work and subscribe to DISH Network and I use the TV Everywhere function to keep in touch with all of my favorite shows . It's great to have when you're on the road and you need a little bit of excitement to help you along with the trip. I use it when I'm not at home for a prolonged period of time and the app is free! It works with the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and Android devices. You can also watch pre-recorded or live TV! I am always recommending that people check out DISH Network and I am inviting anyone who comes across this post to explore the endless possibilities with DISH Network and experience a value unseen by any other TV provider!

They're both pretty awful, but I do agree that Star is better than NeNe, who is loud all the time and loves to get in everyones face. Star is actually intelligent and accomplished though her awful personality usually overshadows that.
I think they are equally sad. Star is not above anyone and NeNe is certainly not below Star.
Used to love Nene... now its just annoying to watch her be so loud and rude and in everyones face when she thinks she has a point to be made. Being loud and obnoxious and not letting anyone speak does not prove you are right, it proves your just an idiotic bully. Star.. ehh could care less.. I agree with the person who said they are both equally sad.. because really they are.. Both were well liked and then even managed to push away their fans with their ridiculous over the top offensive attitudes and personas.

Star is pure evil. I have met her in person and watched her interaction with her staff while on The View. In that brief ten minutes I realized this was not a nice woman...at all. Soon after she was fired from The View.. i was glad.. I have yet to find one person who has met or encountered this woman that says nice things about her. Her life is miserable so it appears she is power hungry to feed her ego. Tho Nene may act her "ghetto" nonsense I think its all for the camera where Star actually lives her life like a villain.
Perhaps the writer meant meant "who will CONTINUE this war that is raging" not who will start this war that is raging. No explanation needed.
