If you were a fan of Rebecca on "Brothers & Sisters", you should be thrilled by this news! Emily VanCamp may be back on ABC with a new pilot.

VanCamp has just been cast as the lead in the drama series pilot, "Revenge," according to Deadline. She'll be playing Emily, a mysterious woman who returns to the Hamptons to dish out some payback on the people who destroyed her family.

Described as a modern retelling of the novel, "The Count of Monte Cristo," the pilot is written by the creator of CBS' "Swingtown," Mike Kelley, and will be directed by Phillip Noyce ("Salt," "The Bone Collector").

VanCamp left "Brothers & Sisters" this season saying she was in the middle of contract re-negotiations and felt it was a good time to move on. Her character, Rebecca, divorced from Justin (Dave Annable) and left for New York for a new job.

Fans also knew VanCamp from her role as Amy on The WB drama, "Everwood."

What do you think of her new gig? Are you excited that she may return to our TV sets?

Good for her.
What train wreck Brothers & Sisters has become.

When I first read the headline I was like... She is coming back for Justin's blood! She is going to get the Walkers.....

Good for her - she has a great presence and I think she was being wasted on Brothers and Sisters..

We watched it for 2 seasons straight bu gave up this year...
No Rob Lowe, TOO much drama....

Great news! Loved her in Brothers & Sisters and was very sorry to see her leave. Now another chance to watch her. Sure hope they pick up the pilot for fall.

She should at least return to B&S for the series finale. People are saying it's the last season of the show. I want her with Justin. I still can't believe she left. The show starting sucking when she left.

Excellent news! Adored her in "Everwood" and agree that she was criminally under-utilized on B&S.

So far from the comments written, the consensus is that Emily is very well liked. I'll add to this as I have been a fan since Everwood.

I hope that her pilot goes well and I look forward to seeing her on the tube soon!
