'Bones': Tina Majorino to guest as part of sniper arc

Tina Majorino, fresh off of the final season of "Big Love" and a guest appearance on "Castle," is heading to "Bones."

TV Guide reports the 26-year-old "Veronica Mars" alum will appear in the season's penultimate episode, "The Hole in the Heart," in a role close to the ongoing pursuit of serial sniper Jacob Broadsky (Arnold Vosloo).

Majorino will play Genny Shaw, an agent charged with assisting Booth (David Boreanaz) in his pursuit of the sniper. But her lack of experience may do more to jeopardize Booth than help him track down his former-colleague-turned-vigilante.

The episode is slated to air May 12.
