'Bones' preview: Booth and Brennan search for the sniper
So much surveillance! When "Bones" returns from its mini-hiatus on Mar. 10, Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) return to their search for serial sniper Jacob Broadsky (Arnold Vosloo).
And from the looks of these photos from "The Killer in the Crosshairs," it looks like several stakeouts are involved, which, by our best estimates, would make Booth the Emilo Estevez and Brennan the Rosie O'Donnell. (Or maybe they're both Richard Dreyfus?)
We may have mentioned this before. But we can't tell you how excited we are for the rest of Season 6, with Booth and Brennan back their buddy-buddy banter without Hannah casting a pall over their charming crime-fighting.
It also seems unclear how close to home this sniper storyline is going to hit. We'd heard rumblings that he'd take out one of the Jeffersonian gang, but the promo for upcoming episodes are decidedly whimsical.
For now, the sniper seems to still be claiming victims w aren't familiar with -- unless you recognize the man in that driver's license.
Really, of all the drama that transpires around the new "evil Booth," we're most concerned with what terrible act prompts regular Booth to ditch his handsome suits for sweatpants and a hoodie. That is scary.

ahh! can't wait for bones to return. hannah's gone, there's an evil sniper on the loose, & eventually booth & bones will get trapped in an elevator. so many good things to come!
i feel sad that i'm not even excited anymore...i read some stuff about upcoming episodes and just thought 'eh...who cares?' that whole Hannah debacle took alot of love for the show away from me...even all of the friends i turned on to the show stopped watching b/c it was so contrived...they are all watching Greys now (which is not my first choice, but whatever!) hopefully, i'll be pleasantly surprised when i see the reruns b/c i'm not really interested in seeing it live and i sure as heck am not buying the season 6 DVDs...which sucks b/c i have all of the other seasons and now it won't be complete
I lost all interest in Bones.
The writing has become a horror
and as is the acting.
The show has seen better days.
In other words.....the Bones
has become a Soap Opera and a
bore.
Bones has become sooooo boring, it's ridiculous to keep watching. You know, it was such GREAT NEWS once HANNAH finally left. But, our Booth & Brennan are no closer in getting together, regardless of Hannah's exit, and that is terribly sad. Actually, all we're seeing now is more & more 'Boring Fluff' thrown in (no doubt, by HH & SN) instead of Booth & Brennan starting a relationship. It's beginning to feel like all hope is really lost for Booth & Brennan to ever get together. I'm soooo tired of the waiting. It's been tooooo longgggg already!
The only way Booth & Brennan will get together at all, is if fans quit watching the show. Because, that's the only way HH & SN are gonna TAKE SERIOUSLY that fans are bored with ALL THIS WAITING & WAITING. Really, they have nothing to lose, since the ratings are doing very well. So, once the ratings fall badly, the WAKE UP CALL will "hit them where it hurts" to improve the show before it fails! The improvement being "Booth & Brennan FINALLY together" -- Although, until B&B happens, there will be nothing but more BORING FLUFF in future episodes!
I've soooo had enough! Thank Goodness, there's other shows that are BETTER than this one. Cuz, until B&B get together, I'm no longer watching anymore!
I was excited to see Hannah left the show. But things are not any better since. The upcoming elevator episode was where I finally said 'it's hopeless for Booth & Bones'. They're trapped in a 1920's style elevator, (it's not enclosed with solid walls, it has cage-like bars surrounding it, which makes it open) and with Sweets right outside to hear them! Yeah, B&B are going to be able to 'talk' about resolving things with Sweets around? I seriously doubt it! This episode is not gonna be something to look forward to afterall. I am completely disappointed! Just when there's a possibility for Booth & Bones to come together, there's some way for it to sink. I see nothing but more disappointment through the end of this season. I hope Season 7 does not happen, it's time to put this show to rest. IMO, Booth & Bones are never going to happen -- it's official!
as a fan after hannah and the fig tree/not too excited to see booth and bones and that is sad.
I agree with everyone else, if Bones and Booth don't get together this will be my last season. And what is with the long breaks between new episodes? Tired of waiting ...
