'America's Got Talent,' 3 new shows headline NBC's summer

NBC has revealed the original programming it will air during the summer. It just hasn't figured out where to put them all.The network will once again have "America's Got Talent" as the anchor of its schedule. It begins its sixth season on Tuesday, May 31, and will again air Tuesday and Wednesday nights; the Tuesday episodes will be paired with the network's new singing competition "The Voice," which starts April 26.
NBC will also unveil three new unscripted series -- game shows "It's Worth What?" and "Still Standing" (which is a working title and not to be confused with the early-2000s CBS sitcom) and a dating show called "Love in the Wild."
"It's Worth What?," hosted by comedian Cedric The Entertainer, will (to quote NBC) "tap into America's love for cost and value, such as the hidden gems found in one's attic. A pair of contestants is taken through a series of challenges that escalate in level of difficulty. As a result, they are tasked with discerning the price of the items in each round. If they successfully complete the challenges, contestants can win up to $1 million." Yeah -- we're not sure what that means either.
"Still Standing," or whatever it ends up being called, pits 10 people in a series of trivia battles. The "Standing" part comes from the way contestants are eliminated, via a trapdoor under each of their positions. "Love in the Wild" will pair up 10 single guys and 10 single women for a trip through Costa Rica. At the end of each leg, couples will have a choice of staying with their current partner or trying their luck with someone new; two people will be sent home each week.
Jerry Seinfeld's unscripted show "The Marriage Ref" will also be back, beginning its second season on Sunday, June 26. On the scripted side, episodes of "Law & Order: Los Angeles" (Mondays at 10) and "Friday Night Lights" (Fridays at 8) will run into the summer, and you'll be able to see the final season of "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" on NBC starting at 9 p.m. Monday, May 30 (after it debuts on USA).
