'American Idol's' Haley Reinhart: Were you 'Fallin' for Haley?

GoogleHaley Reinhart took to the "American Idol" semi-final stage with a sexy, sultry version of Alicia Keys' "Fallin'" and the judges were split. Steven and Jennifer gave her good reviews, while Randy was not on board.
We thought it was actually pretty decent, but she needs to work on her stage presence and not being so cutsy by acting out the words to the song as she sings. Vocally, though, she had some very nice moments.
With only five girls advancing for sure, however, Haley is probably in danger, since Pia, Thia, Karen and Lauren A. will almost assuredly get through. What did you think of Haley? Are you "Fallin'" for her?

I feel like her singing is soooo put on. It's phony. She sounds ok, but she's so annoying with her gestures. That, and she looks like Linda Blair from the Exorcist. I don't like her. I say, give her a bowl of pea soup and call it a day.
Expect a surprise judges selection to add 1 more guy and gal. A top 10 would put a finale on May 4th. Typically Idol finishes in mid-May to take full advantage of May sweeps. Credit me for being the one to predict that.
I'm totally fallin' for her. Some other great performances from the rest of the girls, too, but I'm definitely into Haley.

Haley reinhart is the best
Hailey is my second favorite next to Pia. I like her voice a lot and hope she makes it through.
Haley has also been one of my favorites and I don't think we've had a chance to see the best of her yet. I know she may not advance, but I'd rather see more of her than the other faves so far. Too bad Ashton didn't do so well either. I think she should keep going on. I still find it hard to single out one lady I would buy an entire CD from. Looks like it will be another guys year.

She sounded great for a first time real American Idol performance. Lots of contestants have done different Alicia Keys songs and they always seem to do well, so the person who made the statement not to pick an AK song was just wrong. One of them sang, Doesn't Mean Anything, last week and did a really great job. I think this girl did a great job and will continue to improve.
She's my favorite for sure. I really like that bluesy voice...
