'When I Get You Alone': Another 'Glee' hit for Darren Criss
We're pretty sure Darren Criss can do no wrong. The "Glee" phenom stole the show again on the FOX hit's Feb. 8 Valentine's Day episode, "Silly Love Songs," with his performance of Robin Thicke's "When I Get You Alone." Leave it to Darren Criss to make singing in a retail store romantic.
Darren Criss tackled "When I Get You Alone" with Kurt (Chris Colfer) and the Dalton Academy Warblers. Their stage? The local GAP store where Blaine's (Criss) crush works so he decides to serenade him. The group dances and sings and puts on a show for the customers and employees... which Blaine's closeted crush doesn't particularly enjoy too much.
While we loved his rendition of the Thicke song, our favorite Criss cover still remains Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream." What about you, Zappers? What is your favorite Darren Criss cover on "Glee" so far?

This was probably Darren's best vocal performance, but "Teenage Dream" (regardless of Blaine's newfound cluelessness) will always be my favorite 'Bubs backed tune. (Excluding "Baby It's Cold Oustide", which I adore.)
And now this song has been officially ruined for me.
Romantic? Didn't anyone else think a teenage boy chasing a 20-something guy around a GAP singing a song about wanting to get down and dirty in the bedroom incredibly creepy? He out-stalkered Kurt, and Kurt watched Sam sing in the shower.
This song is my favorite so far. Darren Criss can do no wrong.
Not important but Finn was actually the one who watched Sam sing in the shower...and my favorite Blaine song is Bills, Bills, Bills for sure. I've listened to it 10 times since the super bowl already lol.
Gross. Now I hate that song!
Okay, the guy Blaine has a crush on? Not cute! Not cute! Unrealistic... it's dreamy to think and imagine that a boy as good looking as Blaine would fall for the inside of a person, but realistically? Realistically Blaine would be chasing after a boy from A&F, not the Gap.
He can sing the phone book and I'd be buyin' it....
@Jason...it's not important, but you are wrong. Both Finn and Kurt talked to Sam while he was in the locker room shower in different episodes.
Ryan Murphy can do much wrong by cramming this talented kid down our throats. Electronic back-up singers and Darren Criss fronting makes great music. I doesn't always make great story.
