TV Ratings: 'Idol' wins again, 'Mr. Sunshine' premieres high
Fast National ratings for Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011 "American Idol," though still the Wednesday winner by a long shot, slipped by over a million viewers from last week. CBS's "Criminal Minds," on the other hand, enjoyed a bump of almost 5 million viewers.
Notably, the "Live to Dance" finale aired, drawing in 4.8 million viewers which is consistent with its weekly ratings. The "Human Target" finale on FOX dipped after last week's episode.
Meanwhile, ABC's "Mr. Sunshine" debuted to fairly strong numbers despite not-so-great critical buzz. ABC touts it as its highest-rated mid-season premiere since March 2007.
FOX drew an average of 15.9 million viewers with a 8.8 rating/14 share in households. It was followed by CBS (10.5 million, 6.5/10), ABC (8.3 million, 5.1/8), and NBC (6.7 million, 4.0/6). The CW's reruns trailed with 1.2 million viewers and a 0.8/1 share.
In the 18-49 demo, FOX continued its Wednesday reign with a 5.3 rating. ABC had a 2.8, CBS a 2.3, NBC a 2.1, and The CW had a 0.4.

No supperbawl bounse for FOX and the same borign crime procedurals on CBS (Leslie Moonbat and Jackie Chan's netwart for old people). Haha lol purr thins! Only ABC rains supreme. Noww off to Yoda.
Idol is better than last year ,soooo glad ellen and kara got booted and Simon, don't even miss him.
You need to correct the 18-49 leader number, SVU got a 2.6, not a 2.9.
Good catch!, the SUV numbers are wrong, looks like copy and paste Karina strickes again. Hopefully Preta will leave her some notes on correct copy and pasting next time he is gone.

Hope FOX realizes that the 8.2 million that watched "Human Target" is nothing to sneeze at in a very competitive time slot. It definitely deserves a 3rd Season!
Definitely Human Target deserves a 3rd season. Great show
Mr. Sunshine didn't premiere that high considering it couldn't even hold Modern Family's lead-in numbers.
& 8.2 million for Human Target is not that impressive considering the Idol lead-in numbers. just sayin.
Weds Jan 26? you mean Feb 9??
