TV Ratings: 'Idol' gains over two hour show, 'Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior' debuts healthily

"American Idol" was the victor again on another soft Wednesday. Though the first hour started lower than "Idol" usually does, more viewers tuned in for hour 2 of the group auditions. CBS' Forest Whitaker pilot "Criminal Minds" debuted with a solid 12.9 million viewers, helping to give CBS an edge over ABC in the key demos.

"Mr. Sunshine," which debuted high last week, lost over 30% of its audience for its second episode, which featured a stunt casting move with pop star Nick Jonas playing a teen star who gives Matthew Perry a hard time. Apparently, the Jonas Brothers fans aren't Nielsen families.

FOX drew an average of 22.8 million viewers with a 12.7 rating/20 share in households. It was followed by CBS (12.3 million, 7.4/12), ABC (6.6 million, 4.1/7), and NBC (4.8 million, 3.0/5). The CW's reruns trailed with 1.9 million viewers and a 0.6/1 share.

In the 18-49 demo, FOX continued its Wednesday reign with a 8.1 rating. CBS pulled a 3.2, ABC a 2.3, NBC a 1.4, and CW just 0.3.

Oooops! I forgot to watch the Boston Rob vs. Russell part 6, formerly called Survivor, last night. So sad when that happens!

Except for Modern Family ABC sucks!

Looks like Copy and Paste, copy and pasted wrong AGAIN. The demo for SUV is not 2.6. That was last week! Love how she reuses the same article every week. Sad.
CORRECT:
10:00 CBS Criminal Minds: SUSPECT 3.3 10 13.077
NBC LAW & ORDER: SVU 2.1 6 6.926
ABC Off The Map 1.5 4 4.378

10:30 CBS Criminal Minds: SUSPECT 3.2 10 12.741
NBC LAW & ORDER: SVU 2.2 7 7.576
ABC Off The Map 1.4 4 4.272
WRONG:
18-49 leader: "Law & Order: SVU" (2.6)

was very disappointed in CM2 I turned to Off the Map after 20 minutes. Won't waste those 20 minutes next week.

The 18-49 leader at 10 p.m. may be incorrect. tvbythenumbers.com is showing the new "Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior" as starting with a 3.3 for the hour.

wow, Mr Sunshine took a huge hit. Doesn't look good.

my first time watching off the map i watch it on internet i was searching board about v and saw a clip and it had tropics and i want to check out hd on my computor so i give it a chance it was good the directing was very good nice vizual so i am going to check out rest of show on net if they have it tropic give me a smile its cold here

Go screw yourself *EOW/Donna/Britney, you skankbot trashbot ho! Keep praising ABC for the network they are, pathetic such as yourself, you oxygen thief and waste of space!

I tuned into the new Criminal Minds cause I like Forest Whitaker, but it didn't strike me as anything new. Same old formula.

ABC's comedy block has been reduced down to two stellar performers, one so-so show, and one god-awful mess of a comedy. Mr. Sunshine features one loser after another, a boss who is the most annoying woman in the world, and for the life of me I don't know where are the laughs? DAMN, just how pathetic can ABC be this year.
ABC stinks and it's they have no one to blame but themselves. They've shot themselves in the foot with this one track thinking. Their Monday through Sunday lineup of pansy programming has long been a turnoff for men and is becoming a major turnoff for women as well. I look for them to fall deeper into the crevass next season with the clueless leadership that's currently in control. From what I've been reading next fall will see ABC rolling in more soap operas(which are dying all the time but apparently ABC doesn't know this), more lesbian detectives (Charlies Angels, gets added to the one currently in charge of Castle.), and I'm sure somewhere on the schedule they'll find room for another watered down, weak-***, cop drama where the cops spend 70% of the show discussing their lovelife and the work, rather than actual crime solving. ABC looks like it 4th place forever, maybe fifth. I hear univision and CW have big plans for improvement. ABC, say thank you to Disney for running a great network into the ground.
