TV ratings: 'Idol' and CBS up Thursday, ABC and NBC falter
Fast National ratings for Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011The thinning of the "American Idol" herd on Thursday gave the show a small ratings bump over last week, and CBS was up a little bit as well. ABC and NBC, however, both continued their downward trend of recent weeks.
FOX scored 15.95 million viewers and a 9.0 rating/15 share in households for the night, up slightly from last Thursday. CBS (13.1 million, 8.0/13) also improved a little bit on last week. I wonder if there's going to be a stop watching American Idol campaign.
A "Stop Watching American Idol campaign?" With all the new changes this season? I especially like the addition of the GONG this year.
Even though the Community episode sucked last night. I mean, why is Chevy Chase's character part of this group. No redeeming qualities at all. But, compared to 30 Rock, Outsourced and Parks & Rec, it did pretty well considering the competition and having no lead-in. I hope it is not cancelled.
simon baker deserves that raise; beating every show, except a.i. is a fete.
csi used to be the show going head2head against a.i.
AI is so much better since Ellen was fired and I don't even miss Simon.
If $#*! My dad says gets canceled and Outsourced and perfect couples doesn't im going to be pissed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3 million viewers come on NBC.
I agree with "queen of english".
Simon Baker deserves that raise.
"The Mentalist" is the only show that I look forward to watching
each week.
It pisses me off that $#*! My Dad Says is being pulled. That, preceded by Big Bang was my favorite night on TV.
