'True Blood': Allan Hyde makes epic Season 4 return
This can be filed under "What," but stranger things have happened in Bon Temps. Someone who we came to love on HBO's "True Blood," but left us in a fiery goodbye is returning.
TVLine reports that Allan Hyde, who played Godric, will return for Season 4.
Godric was Eric's (Alexander Skarsgard) maker, who felt his physical journey on earth was over and walked into the sun for a dramatic death. He reappeared in a vision to Eric in the Season 3 finale.
Creator and executive producer, Alan Ball, didn't tell the site what form we'd see the former vampire sheriff in when he returns, but did say that we'll see "a different side of Godric."
Is there life after the undead? If anyone knows, it would be the very Zen Godric.

the first two season2 were ok... but season 3 sucked big time... will never watch another episode again!
Say what you will blah! It's an amazing show! Godric was one of the best reoccurring characters from the first season, can't wait to see him again.
Speaking as a viewer unfamiliar with the books, Godric's character was wonderful and Allan Hyde is handsome and sexy. I welcome this news.

I liked Godric, but I'm WAY more interested in seeing the amnesia storyline this year. He better not let us down!
when will season 4 start and will it still be on hbo. its the only reason i got hbo i love the show
Season Four starts in 107 days on June 12, 2011. Godric returning and showing an unfamiliar side sounds quite ominous. Perhaps, we might see the "darker" side of Godric. I am all up for changing up characters. Alan Ball is always amazing in his choices for casting and of course writing.

Godric makes the show any season without him is just not worth watching Im hoping for him or quiting
