'The Real Housewives of New York' Season 4 premiere delayed to Spring [Update]

Move over "Real Housewives of New York," make room for the Miami gals.
Fans who were looking forward to seeing the popular NYC women back on their TV sets on Feb. 15. may be disappointed.
Included in Thursday's (Feb. 3) Bravo press release announcing "The Real Housewives of Miami" cast and premiere date, the network buried the news that the New York franchise's Season 4 premiere has been postponed.
Even though promos ran announcing its February return on the network, the series has been pushed to a TBD spring date.
Real househusband, Simon van Kempen, who is working on his web spinoff show which will run concurrently with the New York series, offered up some explanation on Twitter.
"'Real Housewives of New York' delay is good," he tweets. "As we were still filming up until last week and a Feb. 15 premiere was a very quick turnaround. Gives us a chance to breathe."
That also makes us wonder if the previously announced "The Real Housewives of Orange County" Season 6 premiere on March 6 will be affected by the "RHONY's" postponement.
Zap2it has reached out to Bravo for an official statement, but it hasn't returned our request as of the publishing of this article. We'll update when they do.
[Update 6:11 p.m. ET Bravo PR sent us the following statement from exec and "Watch What Happens: Live" host, Andy Cohen:
"No conspiracy here folks," Cohen says. "We have an embarrassment of riches with Miami and New York and I assure you that the 'Real Housewives of NYC' will be well worth the wait and the 'Real Housewives of Miami' is hot, hot, hot. Heaven knows we could use a bit of heat on the east coast about right now."]
How do you feel about waiting a bit longer for the NYC gals?

So either one of the gals behaved badly and lawyered up to stop the premiere until they get promise of a good edit, or it is just too boring. What is the speculation on why?
The Miami Girls, look WAY Crazy. THat one mom with the BAD PLASTIC SURGERY, looks scary like the cat woman.
I do not want to be rude by is Kelly a girl? She look to me a little...no a lot manly.

Well with Bethany gone and her new season starting with Bethany ever after, and a great fun season with the Beverly Hills ladies. Who really cares about NYC housewives. Quite frankly why don't they just postpone NYC and Washington housewives for good. And give us more Beverly Hills, Atlanta and New Jersey!!!!
Booo to Brian Bustos. The NYC and D.C. housewives are 100% more entertaining that the trashy women of New Jersey and Atlanta. Bravo needs to stick with its classy women in NYC, D.C., and Beverly Hills...and ditch the other shows (including Orange County).
They should permanently delay the RH of Atlanta and DC. and honestly the RH of Miami doesnt look too good. They should play a lot more of Beverly Hills, New Jersey, Bethenny ever after, and maybe the OC. but the RH of NYC isnt that good without Bethenny.
Like Bethany but have been waiting for RH NYC and am very disappointed. Atlanta is sooo trashy we turn it off. Miami looks like it could go the way of Atlanta on the trash meter...and what's with "house wives"?? Half of them aren't even married. In this reality media, at least New York has some class and the city's beautiful. I hope you don't lose this viewer...
omg. RH of N.Y. could be delayed 4ever. Watching reruns and seeing Jill act so awful toward Bethany made me sick... and LuAnn egged her on. Poor spoiled Jill...Bethany didn't let her run her life! I think Bethany Ever After is wonderful! She's the ONLY REAL HOUSEWIFE!
