The 'Chase' is over: NBC pulls show from schedule

NBC has pulled its low-performing freshman drama "Chase" from the schedule. A network rep tells Zap2it that the Jerry Bruckheimer-produced show is on "a hiatus," but there are no plans at the moment to air the remaining episodes. (EW first reported on the show being yanked.)
NBC's decision comes a day after an episode of "Minute to Win It" significantly outperformed "Chase's" average at 9 p.m. on Wednesdays. The game show drew a 3.0 rating among adults 18-49 and 9.5 million viewers, way ahead of "Chase's" season average of 1.8 and 6.3 million viewers.
The network will air a two-hour block of "Minute to Win It" on Wednesdays going forward, with a mix of new and repeat episodes at 8 p.m. ET and original episodes at 9.
"Chase" is the third show NBC has axed this season, following "Outlaw" and "Undercovers."

At least they are being fair . After pulling the plug on Undercovers , that was doing a lot better than Chase ...
Bummer. Chase, The Event and Raising Hope are the only new shows I've liked this season. Now Chase is gone and The Event is likely doomed to the same fate.
With more and more quality shows being replaced with silly game shows and mind numming reality crap, I am getting ever more closer to cancelling my pricey cable TV altogether.
Can we put THE EVENT back on now? I know it's destined for failure as well, but I at least want to see the rest of the season.
Bummer, I really liked Chase and want to know what is going to happen with Annie and Jimmy (love him). It really is sad that they are pulling all these good shows for stupid reality shows :(
This show is a weak representation of Texas. Especially, the city(Houston) they try to base it. Walker Texas was way better. Chase has stupid accents and not real.
NBC is starting to wake up now and pulling all the garbage from the previous regime off the air. Next up...Chuck and The Event and Outsourced.

NBC are morons. At least put it on Friday night for it's remainder so the those 6 million people who WERE watching can finish up the season. How is 6 million viewers just not enough any how ?
Plus they have effectively killed the Event by leaving it off the air so long, and now they have even pushed it back a week.
If it weren't for Chuck I'd boycott this network altogether. And they wonder why they are in last place.
