'Smallville': Will 'Fortune' be Chloe's last episode?
It's hard to imagine wrapping up a character we've loved for 10 years, but this week's "Smallville" episode may be Chloe's last. Allison Mack has not yet been confirmed to appear in the May 13 series finale, though we have to admit, we've got our fingers crossed! If this is the last time we'll see Chloe, we're glad it's a fun episode. Last week's episode was a rough one for Chloe, testing her strength and her relationship with Oliver. Of course, our girl came through it all better than ever with a new perspective on her responsibilities and her love life.
This week, we'll get the chance to explore Chloe and Clark's (Tom Welling) ten-year friendship in the "Hangover" style fall-out from his and Lois' (Erica Durance) bachelor/bachelorette parties.
"You two amazing people have been the best friends a girl could ever ask for," Chloe tells Lois and Clark at the beginning of the episode. "To the bride and groom!"
We don't think she was talking about herself there, but if the previews are to be believed... Chloe and Clark may wake up... married?
"Oops" doesn't quite cover it.
Clark will need Chloe's help to decipher the night's activities, which, for him, included hijacking an armored truck. What was in that champagne, anyway?
As the series winds to a close, we can't help but get nostalgic for the good old days. "Smallville" fans, how would Chloe Sullivan from the pilot have reacted to the idea that ten years later, she'd wake up married to Clark Kent? Memories, memories.

Could have done without this episode. It is quite clear that both Chloe and Clark have both moved on. There wasn't much to move on from in the first place. I wish you would stop beating a dead horse Smallville. Also, is it being implied that it is okay for someone to cheat on their significant other if they are drunk? Maybe I have high standards, but that wouldn't be a relationship that I would like to prolong.
I won't be watching this episode. In fact, I don't think I'll be watching the rest of this disappointing season. I don't care if the marriage turns out to be fake - pandering much?! The showrunners have been systematically turning the Clark/Lois relationship into a big joke and this is the last straw. I want this show off my TV screen now.
I love it; they still have the BEST chemistry on the show. Last week they managed to bring the lusty looks back after a year and a half, and everything in this trailer looks hilarious. But some how, I don't think it could possibly be the end - Chloe's last episode is probably the finale. Just not serious enough unlike every other cast member exit.
Hahaha. Brian Peterson and Kelly Souders, the braindead showrunners of Smallville, obviously don't give a rat's *** about the Clark and Lois 'lurve story' or the ratings. This could possibly be the least watched episode of the entire series. Who cares. The show has already been canceled.
^^^^ Yeah, the second half of the final season has been 'Chloe Sullivaned'. Maybe that could be a new catch phrase to denote ratings death brought about by a mistakenly 'popular' returning character.
Seriously she has to be back, how can she leave Oliver while he's marked? and she's the MOH?
The preview looks hilarious (the cast looks like they were having a blast) which is why I have a hard time imagining this as Chloe's last episode. The character deserves a big send off, not just a push out the door after a crazy bender in Vegas. Of course the wacky stuff might only be in the beginning. I am pleased to get at least ONE episode in the last couple years where Chloe and Clark actually are interacting without all of the previous years forced and fake issues coming between them.
As for the ratings, Smallville's ratings ALWAYS take a huge hit after the winter hiatus.
I missed Chloe a lot, more than I realized I would. Allison Mack needs to come back to finish up the series.
And her scenes with Clark are great. I am sorry there will be so few left.
I bet "Fan Fic Forest" of Clois boring romance had a lot more to do with people not coming back after a 7 week hiatus. I mean, they were promised Darkseid and a lot of Suicide Squad and instead got Amish Country Sexy Times.
Yeah, I'd stick around after that.
Chloe Sullivan and Clark Kent's relationship has been the heart, soul, and anchor of this show for almost 10 years. She's his touchstone, deal with it.
Chloe's boring, can't wait for her to be gone forever. Move on.
