Sing It For the World: Will 'Glee' do My Chemical Romance at Regionals?

On Tuesday's episode of "Glee," Rachel (Lea Michele) and Finn (Cory Monteith) led the New Directions gang in a flannel-covered, rousing rendition of My Chemical Romance's empowering anthem "Sing."It's definitely a powerful song, but does it pack the punch needed to win Regionals? Not so much. Still, the lyrics are definitely appropriate for our wily band of underdogs who will undoubtedly face some formidable competition when they hit that Regionals stage.
Check out the original version in the video below -- we have to confess, we kind of like the New Directions cover better. (Sorry, MCR fans... theirs is rad, too.) It's an unexpected choice for our Glee clubbers... and we've got our doubts as to whether we'll hear it again, because Rachel is on a crusade to add an original song to their repertoire, and what Rachel wants, Rachel usually gets.

Well, I hope the glee cast sang it right. I haven't fully heard it, just clips and I have to say as an MCR fan, it sounds okay. I watch glee and weren't surprised they chose to sing this because of the lyrics.
Can I also point out that it goes:
'Sing it for the deaf
Sing it for the blind'
NOT:
'Sing it for the death
Sing it for the blood'
If you're going to post lyrics, please get them right!

Put some effort into posting the correct lyrics next time. It's as simple as a Google search.
No offense but you are seriously damaged if you think that Glee's REMAKE of this amazing song was better. The line between real music and candy coated corporation pop is neither vague nor thin. So I have no idea how you got the two mixed up.
.....whoever wrote this article must have been aiming to get the MCrmy riled up. Seriously....screwing up the lyrics (and making them much more negative) and then dissing the band and saying the new directions cover was better?
Personally I think mcr's version has something theirs doesnt: Soul.
No offense, but it comes off as unprofessional & disrespectful when you get the lyrics to the song your article talks about wrong.
Personally, I was worried when I heard that Glee would be doing "Sing". I thought they would make it too pretty & lose the power of the song. I think they did an alright job with it, but My Chemical Romance's version is still better. Glee's version doesn't have the "grittyness" that MCR's has. It doesn't feel real like MCR's does.
Also, to the writer of this article: find a better website to copy lyrics off of. If they got it wrong for "Sing", they probably have it wrong for other songs as well.

Dude, how can you say the cover was better when you totally screwed up the lyrics. I have no doubt that your reliablility when it comes to songs and music taste is not very credible. P.S. The cover was bleh. It was ok, but the original kicks the cover's ***.
