'Mad Love' sending out virtual valentines

CBS' buzzy new sitcom "Mad Love," which premieres on Valentine's Day, is spreading the love with virtual valentine hearts on Facebook via a new fan page (already active) that allows lovestruck users of the social app to send friends and lovers virtual hearts bearing the phrase MAD4U.

Meanwhile, back in the real world, CBS is delivering Valentine's Day promotional boxes of candy hearts from designated "sweet teams" in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Las Vegas. The team locations will be Tweeted out by the show's official Twitter account on Monday morning.

Using a time-tested format, "Mad Love" juxtaposes a straightforward romance between two New Yorkers (Jason Biggs of "American Pie" and Sarah Chalke of "Scrubs") with the more volatile relationship between their best friends (Tyler Labine of "Reaper" and Judy Greer of the tragically shortlived "Miss Guided" and a memorable recent episode of "How I Met Your Mother," which will be the show's new timeslot partner).
