Larry King to guest on Piers Morgan: Will King's recent criticism make things awk-ward?

Larry King ended his talk show gig at CNN after 25 years and left the door wide open for Brit journalist and "America's Got Talent" judge, Piers Morgan, who was quickly making headlines after booking Oprah Winfrey as his first guest on "Piers Morgan Tonight."
King, though, didn't seem impressed with Morgan's skills when he talked to BBC News recently and we wonder if that will make things awkward when King appears on Morgan's show on Wednesday (Feb. 23).
"I don't want to be horrible about him," King says. "I think he's a fine broadcaster."
Here comes "the but." King says he hasn't watched many episodes, but Morgan's performance is just "fine."
"I think one of the problems they did was over sell it," he says. "He was going to be dangerous, he was going to be water cooler talk."
He adds, "He's good, but not that dangerous. I think they might have been better off starting quietly and that's not Piers' fault, or maybe it is, I'm not inside anymore."
Ouch. Oh, and by the way, King also thinks that Morgan has a tendency to speak over his guests. Double ouch.
We expect that Morgan will bring up King's comments when he appears on the show... or would that be too "dangerous" for him?

Piers does interrupt his guests all the time. I wish he would let them finish. We tuned in to hear what they have to say, after all!
PLEASE TELL PIERS THAT HE MISSED THE BOAT AND SHOULD HAVE MARRIED SUSAN BOYLE.
He does indeed talk over his guests, and he's pretty loud. Watching him interviewing Janet Jackson, who speaks quite softly and slowly, was painful. I like Piers, but he's too brash, and too in love with his British-ness (talking about things people in the US generally don't care about, etc., like he doesn't know his audience) If he'd chill out and just let things happen, it would be much better.
Nobody is worse than clueless and unprepared larry (depends) the creep should stick to chasing his sis in law.
Well, I like Piers, and considering how he handled the Lilly Allen situation, I think he bites his tongue. Because if that was me, I would have called her an ingrate and be done with her. But that's not on topic here I know. I'm just sticking up for the guy. But the guy talking about Janet Jackson, she makes EVERY interview awkward. That's her fault.
Disgraced Larry King shouldn't throw stones...
Piers talks over his guests? Skeletor, I mean Larry King was the worst interruptor I'd ever seen. He mispronounced guests names, their books, their movies etc. He even mixed up names of men and women.(Joan & Kate Plus 8!) I don't think Piers is doing a bad job. I was really sick of watching Larry adjust his dentures with his tongue, laughing at the joke 10 seconds late and making old man fingers at people. Thank God he's gone. He should have hung up the suspenders years ago.
P.S. Since when is awkward a hyphenated word?
