'Glee': Chris Colfer still gunning for Julie Andrews guest spot
We're normally skeptical of gratuitous stunt-casting, but we're sort of rooting for this one.
Chris Colfer is still using the media to try and nab Julie Andrews for a cameo, and the "Glee" star is very candid about his approach.
On the Feb. 7 episode of "Live With Regis and Kelly," Colfer confesses his strategy to the co-host.
"I'm campaigning to get Julie Andrews to play my grandmother," he says, to which Ripa asks if a Golden Globe gets you Andrews' home phone number.
"They should not," he says, laughing, "because I would be there right now." He has another idea of how to get what he wants, though.
"I think you're just very obnoxious in interviews and say how much you'd love to have her on the show," he says. "I'd love to have you on the show, Julie."
Colfer has previously made a point of saying he'd want Andrews to play his "fashionable" grandmother, a moniker we think would fit her quite well. There is a bit of a resemblance, before you even take the matching side-parts into account.

Julie Andrews playing Curt's grandmother is a fantastic idea. I wonder if she saw his rendition of Le Jazz Hot Baby from Victor, Victoria and if so, what was her reaction.
Julie andrews would be perfect as Kurt's grandmother
I think Andrews (as an Aunt) and Hathaway could play together, however Andrews could be suffering from memory loss which is reignited when similar music is played from years ago that bring forward "old" memory to present. This example comes from Saks study of the psychology and the brain, which is true, and memory recall is possble when music is played that is relevant to the patient. I think this time of story is profond and Andrews would be interested if the story is written well.
Sorry for the typos. Written again.
7752213231 Let this idea be donated to Operation USA for a percentage. I don't want anything if this idea is performed on Glee.
I just want to see these two actresses do something again together in the industry of film / tv / music.
I think Andrews (playing as an Aunt) and Hathaway (playing as the gay proactive sister to Kurt, which I believe is the part Hathaway has been wanting) could perform together. However I think a better story would be Andrews suffering from memory loss which is reignited when similar music is played by her neice (Hathaway). The "old" music from years ago brings forward "old" memory to present. Even Andrews can act "younger" in thought, voice (lingo), and action similar to the 60s. This example comes from Saks study of the psychology and the brain, which is true, and memory recall is possble when music of the recalled "era" is played that is relevant to the patient. I think this type of story is profond and Andrews would be interested. It could be really reaaly good, if the story well written.
