There's a bit of late-breaking pilot news at this hour, and it's exceptionally "Lost"-related.

"Persons of Interest," a pilot from J.J. Abrams and "The Dark Knight" co-writer Jonah Nolan, has landed at CBS. The drama follows a scientist and former CIA hitman who try to preemptively solve crimes before they occur. It joins "Alcatraz" as the second pilot from Abrams' Bad Robot to get an order this season. "Grey's Anatomy" creator Shonda Rhimes has found a male lead for her ABC pilot, tentatively titled "In Crisis," and it's "Lost" alum Henry Ian Cusick. The man you know best as everyone's favorite constant, Desmond Hume, will play a handsome litigator who works with fixer Olivia Price (Kerry Washington) in the series about PR crisis management. didn't they already do a movie about something like this called minority report? sorry. after the ending of lost i'm still really irritated. even though i know it's not jj's fault.

Poor snot ... you won't be enjoying TV as much as you did now ... its been ages since lost ended and you still irritated ... wow!

Anything JJ Abrams creates should come with the disclaimer: "At Your Own Risk". Cloverfield was awful and even though I liked the Star Trek movie, it definitely pushed it for me and I have a feeling that most Trekkies prefer to ignore that aspect of Star Trek lore. That being said, most things Jonah Nolan's body of work, it does give me hope. A shame it's not Christopher Nolan though.

Another pilot from Shonda Rhimes? Even CSI creators knew when to stop. Although this isn't a medical drama but I have a feeling it will be the exact same formula as Grey's Anatomy, which has been successful but shouldn't become overplayed.
