'Bachelor Pad's' David Good on faves Emily, Shawntel and crazy Michelle

david-good-bachelor-pad-320.jpg"Bachelor Pad" winner David Good recently spoke with Zap2it about his new book "The Man Code" (look for an interview piece with excerpts later in the week). But of course, the subject of this season of "The Bachelor" came up and David had some great observations to share, including that Michelle is the season's bright spot for entertainment.

"I thought it started out really good. I think Brad's in it for the right reasons," Good says. "However, I'm getting a little bored. If it wasn't for Michelle on the show, I don't think anybody would watch it."

"I like Brad, he's a good guy, but there's gotta be some kind of personality come out. I would like to see some kind of humor," he continues. "I don't think I've laughed one time this season. It's getting a little dull except for the fact that Michelle's so crazy, I always want to see what she's going to do next."

Aside from crazy Michelle, we were wondering which bachelorettes had caught David's eye as potential mates for Brad.

"One of my favorites is Shawntel. I really like her, I think she's a pretty cool chick and athletic and pretty," says Good. And we have to agree with him, Shawntel is solid. But what about Emily, the sweetheart of the season?

"I like Emily, but I feel like everybody loves Emily so much, they want him to pick her so much, I don't think they're being fair," David explains. "Emily brings a lot of baggage to the table. That's something that Brad has to look at and say, 'Am I ready for this? Am I ready to bring on a kid and the emotional baggage she is going to bring?' ... That's a lot for a guy to take on."

And while Michelle might be the most entertaining, Good does think she maybe should've thought it through a little more before she decided to be the polarizing bachelorette.

"I love watching Michelle. She's absolutely crazy. But I forgot that she has a kid," says Good. "Halfway through, I saw that in one of the magazines and that, to me, is kind of embarrassing for her. Is that how you want your kid to see you on national television? That's bad."

Look for more from David Good later this week, including the dish on being the next "Bachelor," returning to "Bachelor Pad" and of course his new book "The Man Code: A Woman's Guide to Cracking the Tough Guy," which can be purchased or downloaded at David's website.
