'Smallville' photo preview: Allison Mack returns as Chloe, but can she be trusted?

Could Chloe Sullivan ever betray the heroes she's spent her life trying to protect?We'll find out when Allison Mack makes her triumphant return to "Smallville" on Jan. 28. When Oliver (Justin Hartley), Clark (Tom Welling) and Dinah, the Black Canary (Alaina Huffman) are released from the Vigilante Registration Act group, they all have visions of Chloe holding them against their will.
When she returns, Dinah and Clark struggle to trust her, worried about her still unexplained disappearance. Oliver, on the other hand, has no doubts.
"She comes back in a very cool and exciting way, in addition to a very very romantic way. It's very true to who Chloe is and who she's becoming," executive producer Brian Peterson told Zap2it in November. We're already a little swoony at the idea of Oliver trusting her blindly.
The photos below show Chloe's return, but also beg the question: What's up with the Black Canary? In the comic books, Dinah is married to Oliver. Should Chloe be worried?
One thing we do know is that Hartley is hoping Chloe and Oliver end up together just as much as all the rest of the Chlollie 'shippers. "It's a really beautiful story," he told us at the 200th Episode Party. "Well done by Allison, well-written, and fun to be a part of. I love working with her. She's great."

No, Chloe will never be a traitor.
No, Dinah isn't a threat. And she and Ollie aren't married in recent comics canon. They got divorced. It doesn't exactly scream romance.
Yes, Oliver is amazing. And yes Clark is the worlds worst friend. He didn't give a crap when she was missing and doubts her on her return. Way to go Supes.

In the most recent comics, Ollie and Dinah are divorced. I'm just going to enjoy the ride and whatever happens, happens.
Honestly I dont think we ever got the chance to explore the Green Arrow/ Black Canary angle. I personally liked them a lot in the comics. And as much as I love Chloe and Oliver together, I don't think that they are meant to be. A relationship that starts based on pain usually doesnt last. I really like them together but I dont see how it would work.
Im just a realistic Chlo/Ollie fan. This isnt meant to upset anyone.
No i don't think that chole will betray he best friends and the guy that she loves. But i do hope that she goes out with a bang and no dinah has nothing to worry about. But i will like to see chole and oille go the distance for at least a while.
And i think it's about time that clark starts to trust his friends because he and chole has been through a lot
Well, I'm more than excited about Chloe's return, I really miss her. And I'm pretty sure she's not a traitor, she never will be, I'm with Oliver on this.
And I just can't wait for their reunion, I love Chloe and Chlollie with all my heart.
I'm pretty confident that Chloe will not turn out to be a traitor to the heroes. As for Dinah and Oliver, the most we will get to see on Smallville for them is anvils and hints at their possible future together. There's not enough episodes left to develop much more. I think Chloe and Oliver is the story the producers and writers are going with on the show. We shall wait and see what they do in the last episodes. Anything can happen.
