'Smallville' door still open for Michael Rosenbaum; Kristin Kreuk definitely not returning
Last spring, "Smallville" hero Tom Welling filled Zap2it in on his hopes for the series' 10th and final season at the CW's Upfront presentation. When we asked about his hopes for the imminent finale, Welling said quickly, "Clark and Lex. Maybe a Lana/Clark/Lois triangle again, who knows. I want to see a lot
of the people that the fans know from the show come back to see those
relationships."At least half of Welling's dream could still come true.
TVLine's Michael Ausiello dishes that "Smallville" producers are still holding out hope to get Michael Rosenbaum back as Lex for the final episodes. Also still on board? Welling. When we caught up with him again at the show's 200th episode party, he remained dedicated to his cause. "I don't know how you end this show without Lex Luthor," he said.
Come on, Rosenbaum. How can you say no to a face like Welling's? Didn't you read our letter?
We do have some not-so-great news to report as well. (Well, depending on which side of the Lana Lang line you stand on.) Ausiello writes that Kristin Kreuk "will definitely not be back."
Looks like the return of the love triangle is a no-go. Though Welling may be disappointed by this, we have to say that we're not. We miss Kreuk on the show, but we're hoping to see Clark and Lois find more stability now that he's popped the question. Nobody wants to see a couple destined to be together breaking up over third-party drama... especially not this close to the final episode.
What do you think, Zap2it readers? Do you think there's hope for a Lex Luthor moment yet? Will you miss Lana as the series winds to a close? Are there any other recurring characters or former regulars you'd like to revisit before the epic finale?

Glad that Lex could be back!! I wish Lana would at least make an appearance, even without a huge storyline. Just so we see everyone again.
What about Pete? Maybe Ghost Whitney? :P
Why would Kristin Kreuk coming back to this hellhole show?

I never liked Lana so I dont mind her not coming back but I do want to see Lex come back...give the show the finale it deserves
Why did michael leave smallville in the first place?
Smallville is an American series filmed in Canada, in the town of Cloverdale and Vancouver, based on the history of the most popular superhero of DC Comics of all time, the popular character, Superman.
The life of teenager Clark Kent, who lives and grows up in Smallville and deals with the problems faced during the adolescence of any ordinary human, adding to the fact that manifest as abnormal new powers, which brings the dramatic side show the vulnerability of a pseudo-human, especially when you are near the rocks Kryptonite (radioactive chunks of his home planet), when he is completely invulnerable.
Smallville has in its cast a number of producers, writers and devoted great American writers in the middle like Steven S. DeKnight, Miles Millar, Alfred Gough, Joe Davola, Brian Robbins and others, known not only for working on Smallville more in other American sitcoms also great successes.
Alvaro Lopez is 27 and lives in Belo Horizonte, is studying civil engineering at a prestigious university in the city. While studying and working in the field of exact sciences, in their spare time have a hobby of writing poems, stories, and others.
Lover of the cinema, he is a fan of the American series Smallville, a series of great success in Brazil transmitted by Warner Chanel and a local channel.
Being a big fan of the series, and like to write, in early 2004 he wrote a story that in its''fanaticism''the show would make a good chapter for the series.
Once remarked to some friends who had written a story and that was with the idea of sending her the show producers have only because he knew all the difficulties they receive the story.
Having no incentive for anyone, it would be almost impossible to get producers of the show's history and still read it, it comes on top of a Brazilian. But leaving aside all the criticism and his stubbornness he translated into English and Spanish and sent to the show's producer Tollin / Robbins Productions in the U.S. and Canada.
Talking with one of her teachers college, explained to her that he had written a history that did not bother to register it because the story would be impossible to reach whom he expected.
The teacher then advised him to go to the post office and send the story to himself and not open the envelope, she said this would serve as a document or evidence, since it would be dated by post.
So he did. In mid-May 2004, he went to the post office and sent the story to him and did not open the envelope.
In mid June 2004 it comes in contact with the production of actor Christopher Reeve, because he had participated in two episodes of the series. In the email he sent, he asked whether the actor's production would have some contact with the show producers.
On July 21, 2004 the actor's production accounts for email and very carefully:
Dear Alvaro, thanks for your nice words about Christopher Reeve and his current projects. The appearance of Christopher Reeve in Smallville was the result of personal effort. We have no connection with the company or the team that produces the show. Good luck in your your texts. "

How had not received any news yet on the chart with the story he had told them months ago, so it resends the same story translated in the languages English, Spanish and Portuguese with a copy to the same address he had sent. This time he sends by registered mail with RA (return receipt requested), the HR returned signed and stamped dated 16 December 2004 and since then he never answered the letter with a story that was sent.
In mid-April 2005, it comes in contact with the Brazilian artist Renato Guedes, who was then working at the Smallville comic book launched here in Brazil. In the email he had asked the same thing he had asked the actor Christopher Reeve. On September 26, 2005 Renato Guedes replied by email:
Hello Alvaro! okay? Sorry about the delay, been working on an edition of Superman with a very tight deadline and I'm just now getting back to normal life and getting my emails! Thanks Alvaro! Glad! So the magazine has been canceled for quite some time, and it's been two years coming out of Smallville! All contact was made by DC comics and I never had direct contact with producers, unfortunately the work was outsourced! But I wish you good luck, and hope you can get in touch with them!
Cheers!
R
Time passed and he never answered the story nor the letter back.
In mid-December 2005, usually watching the show for Warner, one chapter is very similar to what he had written and sent to them in 2004. He then watched the episode several times to see if there really was some similar point. He asked several friends who also watched the episode and then read the story and if they really noticed any similarities they told him. They watched the episode and read the story and also noted several similar points.
He noted the points that were more similar between its history and what had been aired. Found several similar points beyond the final outcome of the chapter.
From there, he started trying to get in touch again with the show producers, sending several letters, faxes, asking why the chapter that had been on the air was so similar to the story he had written and sent them to About a year ago, some letters that were sent came to return, they received other.
As always they never manifested not even with a letter, maybe that did not respond because he is Brazilian?
The episode in question is the fifth of the fifth season (5.05) titrated thirst, which is the renowned author Steven S. DeKnight and directed by Jeannot Szwarc.
Considering the great time difference, about a year between the two stories, the characters who exist in the history of Álvaro no longer exist in Smallville due to continuation of the plot.
It is then the great doubt Plagio or mere coincidence?
SMALLVILLE
Plagiarism or coincidence?

This show is still on the air wow
that`s too bad.I`m still a fan of the show.I prefer lana over lois anyday,Clois bores me.But i respect Kristin`s decision.
I would like to show Lana and Clark as being happy that they aren't together and realizing it was for the best. Or better yet show Lois and Lana team up to help Clark, with Lois and Lana enjoy an awkward attempt at helping Clark who may be possessed by Darkseid. At least we'll possibly get Lex Luthor (REAL ONE) back.
A Pete return would be great before the actor (Sam) probably goes off to prison for a while!
