'Saturday Night Live' promo: Jim Carrey chokes
"Saturday Night Live" is back from the holidays and is kicking off the New Year with Jim Carrey.
The funnyman who stars in "I Love You Phillip Morris" will be hosting on Jan. 8 with musical guest the Black Keys (woo hoo!).
But first, we get more of those wacky promos that "SNL" seems so fond of. These lack the extra production work that previous promos have had, but frankly, Carrey has enough zaniness to make up for it.
Or as he says, he'll use a combo of "sound, movement and funny faces to beguile the audience." We bet!
