'RuPaul's Drag Race' sneak peek: 'Desperate Housewives' Vanessa Williams unwrapped
Are you ready to put some bass back in your walk? Logo is bringing us Christmas in January with a supersized 90-minute Season 3 premiere of "RuPaul's Drag Race" on Monday, Jan. 24 at 10 p.m. ET. And guess who the extra special guest judge is?

It's "Desperate Housewives" and "Ugly Betty" star Vanessa Williams and Zap2it has an exclusive sneak peek of the diva's enchantments above.
"Who better to judge other drag queens than other drag queens?" RuPaul tells Zap2it. "Vanessa Williams will be the first to tell you that she gets up in drag and does her thing and plays her Vanessa Williams role. We all do it. So, she's the perfect judge. She comes from the modeling world and the pageant world and acting. Wilhelmina Slater is very drag. So, she's completely equipped."
So, what brought Ms. Williams' milkshake to the yard? "Her daughter, I think she's 12, is quite frankly obsessed with the show," Ru tells us. "I mean obsessed. So Vanessa wanted to get involved, because of her daughter who loves the show so much."
Williams is just a sign of big times to come in Season 3. Other guest judges who'll be joining RuPaul, designer Santino Rice and new judge, morning radio host Michelle Visage, this season include "Dollhouse's" Eliza Dushku, "American Idol" winner Fantasia, Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir, comedienne and actress Lily Tomlin, and new "Celebrity Apprentice" contestant LaToya Jackson, among others.
"We did want to raise the bar and that's what we did," RuPaul says. "We wanted the level of skill to be as high as possible. And that's exactly what happened. Especially with $75,000 at stake, the queens really had to bring their A-game."
A new batch of drag stars from all over the country will stomp it out for the coveted title of "America's Next Drag Superstar," and a prize package including a headlining spot on Logo's Drag Race Tour sponsored by ABSOLUT, a lifetime supply of Kryolan Professional Make-up and a cash prize of $75,000.

Plus, you'll want to catch the first-ever casting special starting at 9 p.m. ET and then the behind-the-scenes show, "Untucked: RuPaul's Drag Race," premieres at 11:30 p.m. ET.
Don't miss the "RuPaul's Drag Race" premiere or you'll have to lip-sync for your life!

I'll bet anybody even money that Rodman has slept with RuPaul.
Interesting that Vanessa Williams' ex husband Rick Fox's current girlfriend from "Dollhouse" will also be a judge.
Were it not for Vanessa, I wouldn't watch something like this though. So I look forward to seeing what the hype is. I do like RuPaul.
Can't wait. This is one of the best reality programs. Contrary to popular belief, these queens are not as bitchy as most contestants on a reality show. I say that and watch this group be vicious.
Based on the cast photos, this year will have the first non-black winner. (Before anyone says anything, I don't care about the color of the skin. I think the best one should win.) Last season should not have been Tyra and Pandora went too soon!
Oops. There is a black contestant. So who knows then????
