'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills': In Kim vs. Kyle, Adrienne is our she-ro
It's clear in Thursday's (Jan. 20) "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" finale that everyone had a role to play in the heart-wrenching fight between sisters, Kyle and Kim Richards, which led to them not speaking for several weeks and to Kim spending a week in rehab after the finale taping.
But, if we were ever in a brawl, we know which housewife we want backing us up: Adrienne Maloof. That's not only because she's a martial arts expert, but she also had no qualms about stepping in between the two women when things looked like they were going to lead to blows.
"Automatically, I stepped in," Maloof says on "Watch What Happens: Live." "Because it seemed natural to me. And at that time, I wasn't sure what Kyle's intentions were. She seemed to go after her and I felt I had to protect Kim at that time."
For doing the right thing and risking her sparkly weave pieces, we give her our "Mazel of the Week."
Our "Jackhole of the Week" goes to Adrienne's cast mate, Taylor Armstrong, for not fully admitting that not only was her birthday party not the time and place to confront an obviously drunk Kim, but for still not being able to recognize that the manner in which she approached Kim was not exactly in the spirit of peacemaking.
"I can see how it probably looks like," she says. "If I wouldn't have said anything to her, then no one would have been angry. I think the tension of Kyle and Camille, excuse me Kyle and Kim, was coming and it was only a matter of time."

I'm growing rather tired of Taylor. She should just admit it was her gossip to Camille in NY that caused the whole ruckus in the first place, and just say I'M SORRY. And in the finale, it's annoying how she told Lisa she wasn't "in the middle" of it, and admitted to VERY little, if anything. Lisa is right, I wouldn't trust her for a second. I wish Kyle would wake up to this fact and stop attacking Kim over it. Kim is the real victim here, alcoholic or not. And again, Taylor approached Kim at her b'day party in a condescending and argumentative manner. I hope she is happy that she is solely responsible for tearing up these sisters' relationship on National TV. Wake up Kyle! Poor Taylor, always playing the victim... well it's getting old...
Kim had the opportunity in New York, to set the record straight. she coward instead . but she keeps blaming Taylor. its not taylor's fault
Taylor is 100% at Fault and will not own up to it! Kim never baited her. I saw the episode again she said all those things. But Kyle acted completely vile towards her sister.
Lisa said on the previous show she was mad that her bf, Kyle, was hanging more with Taylor. I knew then that Lisa was going to set Taylor up. Then Lisa made that lunch date with Taylor and LISA, not Taylor, brought the whole NY thing back up and further pushed Taylor to take it further (knowing it would stir it all back up again).
Taylor on the other hand, is a liar who is not owning up to her part in the NY incident and she was caught on tape in the airport.
Kim outed Taylor and Taylor is trying to put it back on Kim.
Taylor is also targetting Kim because they all think (mainly helped by Kyle who every chance she gets puts Kim down to everyone including Kim's own kids), that Kim is a weak, loser.
Kim was a child star who supported her whole family and lost her childhood to doing so. She also lost her second husband to murder.
Kyle is a jealous wannabe that never was. Their mother was a stage mother and pimped all three girls (Kathy, Kim & Kyle) in showbiz from the time they could talk and Kim is the one people liked so she became a child and teen star.
The Richards family is very dysfunctional and Kyle is an abusive, cruel, jealous bully and Kim has been her target (long before they went on this show). This is a family pattern we are seeing play out.
A pattern that Lisa had no clue about when she set Taylor up to start this NY stuff up again.
This is a mean girls click where Lisa is the Queen Bee, Kyle is her Princess and Taylor is a Lady in Waiting Wannabe. Kim is their target (especially Kyle's target) and any easy fall girl for all of them to blame when stuff hits a fan.
Lisa is cunning and knew when she invited Taylor to lunch that Taylor could be manipulated because she's insecure, not that bright and a BH rich wife wannabe. Lisa even said that Taylor would rather be unhappy (in her marriage)so she can keep her BH "lifestyle".
Lisa, Kyle and Taylor are bad news. Kim should leave this sleazy show and take care of herself and not let this hurt her any more than it already has and hopefully she will get some new acting gigs from it.
Kudos to Adrienne for stepping in and helping Kim!!!
Has anyone ever considered the fact that Kim is scared of Kyle and that's why she doesnt' "set the record straight" as far as what she heard Kyle say to Camille? People have to be idiots if they don't think that Kyle did indeed say no one would be interested in Camille without Kelsey. Maybe not in those exact words but come on, she said somethng along those lines. Can you imnagine how she'd attact Kim if Kim said she did say it? It takes nothing for Kyly to explode at Kim, so of course she's scared to say what she heard her ***** of a sister say!! Kim can't win with Kyle!!! I KNOW Kyle said whatever Camille heard her say!!
Tylor wasent taking nice to Kim that night, Kyle so that they was taking en jump in to Kim with Know how Tylor was taking , that Kyle she is a bad sister,she alwys put Kim dwon
Meredith ^... I couldn't agree more. In fact, I said something very similar before reading this page. I think Kim is scared and/or also doesn't want to lie for Kyle (knowing she said this or something similar to it, to Camille).
After the very first episode I pegged Kyle for what she was (just by how she treated Kim and acted in general) and knew it was a matter of time before Lisa revealed her true self too.
I think Taylor is very insecure and a wannabe (in the crowd that Lisa is the queen of, just by her opening on the show, she says...the town is about who you know and she knows everyone and she has Maloof level money too living across the street from Adrienne).
Taylor is pathetic. Lisa is cunningly manipulative and Kyle is an abusive brute.
It made me sick when Kyle would win the audience support on every Watch What Happens show and the audience seemed to love her when I knew what she was.
I'm so glad she's been outed and best of all, by her self, lol.
Now I want to see Lisa out herself some more so everyone can see her true colors too.
Kim is a sweet soul and she doesn't belong on a mean show like this especially with a sister like Kyle.
Kyle is much too hard on her sister Kim. She lost my respect when I saw her so agitated with her sister. At Taylor's party, it was as if they were all back in high school, all ganging up on Kim. If Kyle has genuine issues with Kim, she should have settled them privately; not at the birthday party and not in such a terroristic manner with the support of the mean girl back-ups(Lisa & Taylor, etc.). Taylor acts like a bully and I believe her domestic violent teary-eyes were untrue; especially having heard that Oklahoma threat toward Kim. I wish Kim well in all her endeavors. I believe she truly is afraid of confrontation. If she has alcoholic issues; I'm sure there are valid reasons but she does need to address them. I favor Kim and Camille, most of all. Yes, I do believe the media set out to make her a villain but My heart will be with her as she gets through this difficult time. No one deserves to be betrayed by a spouse in this manner; ever! Despite all, I wish you all well (Kim, Kyle, Lisa, Taylor and Camille). We're all imperfect so, never forget to correct the wrongs & always forgive; ALWAYS!
It's truly sad how Kyle constantly picks on her sister Kim. She's obviously jealous and resentful that everyone remembers Kim and not her and only wants everyone to hate her sister Kim as much as she does so she can feel better about herself. She is the one who has a support system with her own family and is so manipulative that she has to constantly remind everyone how good her life is and how sad and pathetic her sister Kim is. Kyle is the pathetic one! Sure Kim has problems but Kyle has just as many and the sooner she admits it the better. The only one that should have gone to rehab was KYLE!
