'Real Housewives of Atlanta's' NeNe Leakes: 'Can we now say 'Celebrity Apprentice' out loud?'
On Friday (Jan. 14), Donald Trump announced the new cast of "The Celebrity Apprentice" and guess who was on the list? "The Real Housewives of Atlanta's" queen bee, NeNe Leakes! And the gabby southern socialite couldn't be happier that she can finally talk about the show."Yes, honey. Can we say 'Celebrity Apprentice' out loud? We had to be quiet for the longest," she exclaims to Zap2it.
NeNe barely wrapped on shooting the NBC reality show on Thursday, which started production back in October of last year. So, how does the Bravo housewife feel she fared on the show?
"I think I did great," she says. "Because when I went into this, I thought I'd be out the first day. I think I did a pretty good job."
It's pretty funny that the "Celebrity Apprentice" news comes right after Popeater ranked NeNe the "least likely to succeed" among several of the "Real Housewives" when it came to their careers. NeNe has a simple answer for them: "We know who gets most likely to succeed," she says. "Because who is working?"
And according to NeNe, she truly is working it. Besides penning the 2009 book, "Never Make The Same Mistake Twice," she says she's working on a shoe line, a handbag line, and her talk segment on Atlanta Local television called "Keepin' it Real with NeNe."
"I'm just trying to do a number of things," she says. "I want to produce shows, radio shows. I want to work behind the scenes. I have a lot of irons in the fire. We'll just see which one explodes first."
NeNe, who filed for divorce from her husband, Greg, last year, says she wants to be an independent woman and thinks that all women should strive for the same.
"I think when you're having a baby, that's a good time to be a stay-at-home mom," she tells us. "But, once you get your baby where you need them to be, then you need to get out there and start trying to do things on your own. Even if you're married to a successful person, this is the real world and anything can happen tomorrow."

I cant stand this loud, ignorant, rude ex-stripper! This show has clearly gone to her head that now she talks down and is rude to her fans, her husband (who took her out of the dtrip clubs) and anyone else. Get her off of tv, please!!!!! And can she please get her priorities together......we are tired of looking at ALL of her missing teeth in the back of her mouth. That should have been the first thing she fixed!
Love love love Nene! Who cares what she wears, or stripped or w/evr. If she offends your delicate sensibities, change the channel. Meanwhile, lots of us will be thoroughly enjoying Nene in all her glory!
I think Nene is a BULLY, and has no class. She never has anything nice to say about anybody. Except Cynthia's fiance. It's discusting how she acts around him. If I was Cynthia her around my fiance. She's pathetic.

She stepped on that tour bus and started lying about what Kim had said and then had the audacity to say she couldn't sing, did she watch the footage of her interview? She's a clueless, classeless, thug who has bad taste in everything she does. I wish she would shut her effing pie hole and just go away. Nene is broke. She's jealous of Kim. She's ugly. She's fat. And, she's a hater. She needs her *** whooped.
I use to like nene the very first time she was on.. but she has gotten so out of control with her big mouth, she talks behind kims back and makes fun of her singing, instead of being a friend and supporting her she backstabs her with harsh words. I dont think nene was ever kims friend. On the bus tour she argues with Kim right in front of kandi and her crew. I find that rude and no class. If she had to have words with kim she should of waited and told kim when they were by themselves. She did start that by brining up kim on that interview she was on. That was rude. As for them being friends anymore kim needs to run the other way. Nene will never be a true friend to kim. I think Nene is jealous of Kims success and its showing. She has been making snod remarks about Kim behind her back how can u call that a friend.
