People's Choice Award Winners: 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,' 'House' and Eminem dominate
Oh, People and your Choices. In a non-shocking turn of events, "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" walked away with 2011 People's Choice Awards for favorite movie and favorite drama. The film's leading lady, Kristen Stewart, also won favorite actress. In an actual shocking turn of events, "Charlie St. Cloud's" Zac Efron was voted favorite movie star under 25, beating Stewart and the sparkling vampire himself, Rob Pattinson.
Adam Sandler and his black eye also cleaned up rather nicely, winning favorite comedic star for "Grown Ups," which won favorite comedy.
"House" was the big winner on the TV side of things, picking up favorite drama, favorite drama actor (Hugh Laurie) and favorite drama actress (Lisa Edelstein). "Glee" won favorite comedy and Jane Lynch was voted favorite comedy actress for her turn as Sue Sylvester.
As for the music categories, Eminem dominated, winning favorite male artist, favorite song and favorite music video. Katy Perry accepted the award for favorite female artist, beating Taylor Swift who went on to win favorite country artist. Paramore, who recently broke up, won favorite rock band. At least it's a nice departing gift?

Go Hawaii Five-0!
The People's Choice for best new comedy undermines the credibility of this whole thing. Putting it another way, this is more proof that most people are, in fact, idiots.
Just wanted to say that I voted for the best new comedy, and I don't feel like an idiot. I'm actually quite happy!
Yea, and considering Kristen Stewart is "favorite actress" and Nightmare on Elm Street(made the original look Oscar-worthy) was favorite horror movie, they should rename it TEEN CHOICE AWARDS. Those are just a couple examples. Half that list is s**t. Adults don't vote for crap like that. But if they did, I can't imagine the other foul decisions they've made in life.
