Marissa Jaret Winokur is out as 'The Talk' claims its first victim
Maybe CBS's "The Talk" is more like "The View" than we originally expected. Just a few months in to Season 1, and it's already losing panelists. People reports that former "Hairspray" actress Marissa Jaret Winokur is already out.
"I will not be returning to 'The Talk' this year," Winokur tells People. "As the show evolved, there really wasn't room for my segments."
Winokur wasn't technically a "panelist," but a "mom on the street," originally slated to appear twice a week. Alas, two is now zero.
But that's not to say she's the Debbie Matenopoulos of the group."Talk" executive producer Brad Bessey tells People it's just a result of the direction the show is headed.
"The show is trending toward more time with panel conversations and interviews, creating fewer opportunities for the mom-on-the-street segments," he says. "We are grateful beyond words to Marissa for her hard work, unrivaled energy and enthusiasm; and the integral role she played in the successful launch of The Talk. We wish her the very best."

I have to say the view was GREAT this week. No Joy Behar...LOL. I bet when she is gone from the view's, ratings will double.
Now, just drop Chenbot & Leah Loudmouth Remini and the show might be good.

Hey people..This show is really good..I`m really surprised i like it too, But Julie Chen surprised the heck out of me and Leah is funny as hell. Give this show a shot it`s really worth it. A million times better then The View.

The ratings skyrocket when shes gone, and what the show needs is either her fat *** off, or a REAL conservative on to kick the living shiite out of them!
I only occasionally see each show, but sadly The Talk seems like a dumber version of The View.
Considering that Barbara and Whoopi are on autopilot, and the presence of Sherri Sheppard, it's very hard to believe, but true.
