Lucy Lawless joins 'No Ordinary Family'
Get excited, "Xena" fans. Lucy Lawless is set to join the cast of ABC's "No Ordinary Family" for at least five episodes, TV Line reports. So who is the kick*ss woman playing? According to a source, she'll be playing "a powerful woman and potential adversary for the Powell clan whose agenda could put the family in danger." Hm... what power do you think her character possesses... assuming she does actually possess one?
Lawless' arc will keep her around until the end of the season. If the producers were hoping for a ratings boost (the freshman sci-fi show is in danger of being canceled), casting Lawless was a pretty smart move.
After wrapping her arc on "Family," Lawless is off to New Zealand to start shooting the highly anticipated second season of "Spartacus: Blood and Sand" for Starz.

2nd season ? Didn't she get knifed to death ?
The second Spartacus season is a prequel. And two episode have already shown so I bet she went to NZ some time ago.
Lucy has been quoted as saying that the knife to the gut in the season 1 finale was just a "poke in the belly" She will be back in season 2.
I like NOF and Spartacussss
Yep. Lucy will be back on Spartacus: B&S. Her character was pregnant when she was "poked" in the belly. So I guess she lives at the expense of her unborn child.
This show sucks Lucy bad acting ain't gonna help it. But she does have a nice **** job and a fairly good plastic surgery job on her face--u gotta use that xena money some way.this show will get canceled either way.
re: tom
Umm she hasn't had any plastic surgery, and she's a great actress.
Lucy Lucy such a babe i love that she has no problem with nudity in her work. just take a look at a clip from last nights episode of Spartacus http://instantcelebs.com/?p=1794 God bless her :)

The prequel is called 'Spartacus: Gods of the Arena' and its 6 episodes are already airing on Starz, so I presume it's done filming. The 'second season' of the original series 'Spartacus: Blood & Sands' would take part after the breakout during which it looked like both Batiatus and Lawless' Lucretia were killed.
I Love Lucy's theory about her surviving after being pregnant would be one way to keep her in the show.
why would lucy lawless do this show when she is busy doing spartacus back in NZ ?
