'Gossip Girl' preview: It's Dan vs. Blair in 'Damien Darko'
It looks like Dan (Penn Badgley) and Blair (Leighton Meester) are going to be spending an awful lot of time together when "Gossip Girl" returns -- whether they (and Chuck and Blair fans) like it or not.
In the second episode back, "Damien Darko" (airing Monday, Jan. 31), Blair lands her dream internship at W Magazine. Her dream quickly turns into a nightmare when she learns that Humphrey has landed one of the coveted positions as well. We really like this move. It is the perfect situation for the two characters to have more interaction without it feeling too forced.
The CW was kind enough to release some stills from the episode, and as expected, they are Dair-heavy. We have Dan and Blair -- gasp! -- sitting on the floor filling swag bags, Dan and Blair mingling with W's editor Stefano Tonchi (because all interns obviously get to schmooze with editors) and Dan and Blair fighting over a stapler.
While Dan and Blair are adorably duking it out at W, Chuck (Ed Westwick) seems to have finally met his match in Russell Thorpe (Michael Boatman) and his daughter Raina (Tika Sumpter) and Nate (Chace Crawford) receives some alarming news about The Captain's (Sam Robards) business prospects.
Can't wait for the stapler fight :D
Um Dan is working for a Fashion magazine despite knowing next to nothing about fashion and not having a slight interest in fashion....and that doesnt feel forced LOL

'Forced' is exactly the word I'd use to describe Dan working at a fashion magazine, lol. But at least their fight looks like fun.
I'm more excited about the upcoming NB. Their friendship is so cute!

Dan working at a Fashion mag is forced. Ridiculous and OOC. And, Tierney, are you a DB fangirl squeeling or what? Db sucks and so does Dan Douchbag Humphrey.
I miss Korbi, her articles were much better and she didn't take shots at fans. We don't like Dair and they aren't the OTP, so enjoy your ship while you can ,Sweetie, because they'll be gone soon and CB will be together again. Dan and Blair = BAN for the most OOC pairing I've ever seen.

Wow, Chair fans are so bitter and aggressive, it's kinda sad. Remember people, it's just a freakin' TV show.
I think i'll really enjoy this episode, Dan&Blair are so funny and cute together.:)
