'Celebrity Apprentice': Jose Canseco, Marlee Matlin, Richard Hatch among new cast members

jose-canseco-marlee-matlin-richard-hatch.jpgNBC has announced its next slew of celebrities competing on "The Celebrity Apprentice." The women include Playmate Hope Dworaczyk, singerr La Toya Jackson, former "View" co-host Star Jones, "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star NeNe Leakes, actresses Marlee Matlin and Lisa Rinna, model Niki Taylor and singer Dionne Warwick.

On the men's side, there's actor Gary Busey, former baseball player Jose Canseco, singer and former teen idol David Cassidy, "Survivor" winner Richard Hatch, rapper Lil Jon and singers Meat Loaf, Mark McGrath and John Rich.

Huh. We give early odds to Marlee Matlin and Meat Loaf. They've both always seemed really smart and mature, which eventually Trump seems to winnow down to on "Celebrity Apprentice."

"The next season of 'The Celebrity Apprentice' will be the most exciting yet. We are thrilled to bring back the celebrity format with 16 new and unbelievably talented celebrities who will help me make 'The Celebrity Apprentice' one of the hottest shows on television this spring. This will be season 11 -- Amazing!" says Donald J. Trump in a statement.

This season will also add Eric Trump, Ivanka and Donald Jr.'s younger brother, who will help as an advisor, as well as longtime Trump employee George Ross.

All 16 celebrities will be competing in business related tasks in and around New York City, using their fame, contacts and business acumen to win weekly tasks, while ultimately raising money and awareness for their respective causes.  As per usual, Trump and his advisors, who also happen to be his children and colleagues, will stand in judgment of the celebrities in the Boardroom.  Ivanka and Donald Trump Jr. are back and will welcome their younger brother, Eric Trump, who will be filling in as an advisor, as will longtime Trump Organization employee George Ross.

Would have been more fun watching these D-Listers on, "The Surreal Life".

Really? Hope Dworaczyk and NeNe Leakes? They are stretching the definition of celebrity.

they definitely weren't all in the same place for that photoshoot

ZZZZZZzzzzzz Think I'll skip it again..

Didn't Matlin win an Oscar once?

jod, yes she did. In 1986 she won the Academy Award for Best Actress for "Children of a Lesser God".

Did Donald Trump really just condone physical abuse on his show? Not only did he condone it but he actually fired the victim. Very disturbing. Richard Hatch should go immediately without another show.

Star Jones is such a mean person, she really needs to go.
