'Being Human' promo: A vampire, a werewolf and a ghost walk into a bar
"One of Them" shows just how hard it is to be a kindly vampire -- not that the werewolf or the ghost have it much easier. The series follows the three friends as they try to fit in with the world around them -- often to little success. (If you're not yet familiar with the series, the title is something of a joke.)
What should really whet fans appetites here the tease of how the new version plans to handle the spooky graphics. There's vampire eyes, walk-through ghosts and even a hint of a werewolf transformation.
Expect "Being Human" to go all out on the latter. Russell Tovey's grueling full moon change in the original is a tough act to follow.

Is there anything left that the Americans can ruin ... this is a great British series ...and the USA had to copy it...badly! the clips I have seen seems poorly acted...and the humour and story poorly interpreted.. it will probably not work out well ratings wise, as in the States they already have 2 or three highly successful programs in this genre... that it will be compared against...

I'm trying very hard not to be judgemental, even though the previews have been less than interesting. The UK version is a hard act to follow.
I love the UK Version. Not sure if I'll be watching the US Version.

Yeah, British television is soooo superior, with your British-ized Law & Order and Masterpiece Theatre.

Law and Order UK was a failure in the US market as the legal system is so different...not because it was bad...just a bad format for them...and using Wolf Films & NBC as the production companies both US based does not help... As for Masterpiece Theatre...the name says it all when was the last time you read a classic book?
Ummmm...I'm pretty sure this is actually shot & cast in Canada so....perhaps not so American.
ok shot in Canada, for the American Market because it is cheaper to do it here... lets just say ...it was not made for a Canadian Market...
as the first two seasons of the Brit- Being Human have allready aired here and I do not know anyone who watched and that felt it needed re-doing...Canada is still a member of the Commonwealth ...so...I am sure it is not for us that it was remade...
