Adrianne Palicki on 'Criminal Minds': What'd you think of the 'Friday Night Lights' alum?
"Friday Night Lights" star Adrianne Palicki took a turn for the crazy alongside "The Black Donnellys" star Jonathan Tucker on Wednesday's episode of "Criminal Minds." As Sydney and Ray, respectively, the duo drive across the Midwest, wreaking drunken, murderous havoc. We met Ray at an AA meeting, where he confessed that he was drinking, but trying to work through the 12 steps to recovery.
Then he opened fire on the room.
The couple used various weapons as they spiraled out of control, warping the 12 steps to suit their maniacal purposes. Palicki in particular stood out as she brandished a baseball bat and nursed a candy ring-pop. The episode focused heavily on the criminals, instead of the FBI/BAU team, which led to a more nerve-wracking ride than usual.
What'd you think of Palicki and Tucker as Sydney and Ray? Sound off in the comments below.

I would prefer to see her back on Friday Night Lights then in a horror movie anytime soon. Just personal fright-o-meter preference. She was too convincing. I love Criminal Minds but this was a particularly disturbing episode. Wonderfully acted. *shiver*
This episode was extremely violent, acted well, but too close to home after the Tucson shooting. I almost turned it off, thinking that someone would try to copycat the gore.
She was not recognizable - which is a credit to her acting abilities. That was an excellent and very creepy episode.
The performances were fine, but the violence was ridiculous, the body count extreme, and the viewer discretion warning at the half way point? What was that about? I'm sorry, but this one went too far.
Criminal Minds was excellent as always.
Maybe I just havent paid much attention but to have viewer discretions during the commerical breaks was a first for me. Glad they didnt have the JJ twin on this episode.
@Shackman - There was a content warning before the show started as well.
Hey Cappo. Don't watch it if you don't want to. It is on at 9pm and my kids are in bed by then.
This show was so revolting, I didn't even notice the acting. I turned it off about midway and wrote a complaint to CBS. These are public airwaves available to children as well as mental cases such as the Tucson murderer. Violence at this level maybe belongs on cable and in the movies. Broadcast TV must adhere to higher community standards. CBS should be ashamed of itself.
I stopped watched Criminal Minds about 2-3 years ago because it was becoming too creepy and disturbing. I see by these comments that it has become even worse.
