TV ratings: 'Criminal Minds,' CBS top Wednesday; ABC comedies dip

Fast National ratings for Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010"Criminal Minds" and the rest of CBS' lineup scored a pretty big ratings win Wednesday night -- due in part to the fact that ABC's comedy lineup was down some from recent airings. Night two of "The Sing-Off," meanwhile, continued to perform pretty well for NBC.
CBS averaged 12.3 million viewers and a 7.4 rating/12 share in households for the night, beating second-place NBC (7.1 million, 4.4/7) by more than 5 million viewers. ABC (6.95 million, 4.3/7) came in third. FOX snagged 5.5 million viewers and a 3.3/5, while The CW brought up the rear with 1.65 million viewers and a 1.1/2.
The race among adults 18-49 was closer, but CBS still came out on top with a 3.0 rating. ABC and NBC tied for second at 2.4. FOX earned a 1.9 in the demographic and The CW a 0.6.

What was up with Hell's Kitchen last night? I thought that season ended awhile back but I guess it just took a long hiatus? I got all excited seeing "New" next to the promo and turned it on to see the same annoying contestants from months back. Also wtf, does every single HK contestant have to be an ugo. Put a couple decent looking people on there to boost ratings. Sing Off rocked as usual. Dissapointed by a rerun of SVU.

CT needs to be moved ASAP. And I like that show!Q Those sitcom reurns didn't improve much on The Whole Truth. I hope ABC finds some way to air the remaining eps, I really did like it.
Criminal Minds just might be the best TV show ever made, also the Defenders was great last night and is kicking NBC and ABC'S butt. ABC is up for sale but there are no takers.
CT only managed a 2.6 following MF's 4.1. Although I love CT, I could understand if it is replaced with another comedy. BWY is retaining a larger share of Middle's young adult demo. CT should be moved somewhere else by next season.

I caught the tail of a radio report about "The Good Wife" and I fear they may /will cancel it.
There's only a 1/2 doz. shows I like in Prime time. I think TGW is the best, alng with The Defenders and 2 1/2 men. Iam hoping they keep it run ning.
