'The Walking Dead' finale preview: Test Subject 19
"The Walking Dead" Season 1 finale is upon us.It's been quite a ride, and since we know that there's a Season 2 ordered, it'll continue in 2011. For now though, we're concerned with what the survivors find after they've entered the CDC and met Dr. Jenner (Noah Emmerich).
In the finale, "TS-19," Jenner reveals that the designation stands for "Test Subject 19," a person who was bitten, infected and voluntarily allowed his/her body to be monitored and recorded and eventually dissected. "Everything you ever were or will be -- gone."
It's a pretty grim subject despite the pretty lights, and you can tell this is disturbing Andrea (Laurie Holden) especially since this had just happened to her sister. We wonder though if this is foreshadowing. We had already seen clips of Andrea in the shower upset. Could she be next?
We also wonder who Test Subject 19 was. Perhaps someone Jenner knew well like a fellow scientist, maybe even loved. Zombies ruin everything.
We're breaking out the steak tartare and a glass of wine for the finale. It's going to be good.

you can eat while you watch zombies eating flesh? Not me.
Or am I missing the sarcasm? I think its the latter.
1. Series way too short
2. Too much boring filler dialogue, not enough action
3. Too melodramatic
4. Too long until next season
5. Could use better writers
Sure I could eat while watching TWD same as I can sleep afterward, because I know the difference between the fiction of entertainment and reality. Either way I am looking forward to this episode and can't believe I will have to wait 9-10 months to see the next season. Thats their biggest mistake and I hope it does not hurt ratings so much the end up canceling it.
love zombie movies. But i agree series was too short and toooooooooo long for the next episode, but going to have to wait that loooong

I would rather have "fast zombies" from Dawn of the Dead instead of "slow walkers"....its just not as exciting
Love, love, love this show. It's a huge drawback that we have to wait until next fall for Season 2 though. Will need to work on my patience!
