'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills': Tough as nails, bald as Kojak down there
In Thursday's (Dec. 9) episode of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," a few of the housewives bared sides of themselves we haven't seen yet.
They showed that behind the big houses and huge diamond rings, there are more big houses and huge diamond rings. But, behind that are real people who just happen to live in big houses and wear huge diamond rings.
We do think that Camille Grammer's life is starting to fall apart around her. We think that even if Kelsey Grammer hadn't broken up with her yet, that she could feel something was going down. Her name is Kayte Walsh and she's now his fiancé.
Poor thing is rallying the friends around her and even considering how she can make up with Kyle Richards. From next week's previews, it doesn't look like it ends up too well. But with the heavily affected manner of Camille, it truly is the thought that counts.
Meanwhile, Kyle is preparing herself for a weekend with her husband, Mauricio, sans the kids. It's supposed to be a romantic getaway, but there's also some crazy bicycle marathon they're taking part in. Despite having to watch her get waxed "down there," the whole thing was very touching. Kyle had lost several family members to cancer, including her mother, and the bike ride was her way of giving back. It was especially touching when she said she felt her mom and uncle's hands on her back, helping to push her up that monster hill.
Yep, you're gettin' whooped by a woman in an Easter blue cowboy hat. Deal.
Taylor Armstrong also showed there was some substance behind her very distilled face. Apparently, she was raised in an abusive home and she admitted that to a room of strangers at a charity poker game benefitting the 1736 Family Crisis Center, which is a shelter dedicated to helping those through whatever horrible circumstances are trying to rebuild their lives. It was hard not to giggle a bit when she used her own life in Beverly Hills as an example of what these people can achieve. But then we realized, she is.

I love, love, love Lisa. But I found her terribly pretentious with her remarks at the DMV, where she found herself surrounded by everyday people, and made no bones about sharing how grossed out it made her feel. Maybe these women should step off their pedistals once in a while and see how the real people live. Great for her that she if filthy rich and living in 90210, but shame on her for making those awful comments.
@HousewivesFan, Apparently Lisa's restaurant (Villa Blanca) feeds the homeless every week. While her remarks were certainly disparaging, I appreciate the fact that she acknowledged that Beverly Hills is a bubble. There's nothing worse than rich people who act like every place should be as privileged as where they live. And let's be honest, there's always going to be a skeazy guy at the DMV. I thought it was pretty funny how she dealt with him.
It was so inspiring to see Kyle and Mauricio ride that entire marathon, and really amazing for Taylor to share her past with the public.
At first I cringed at Adrienne's outfit but she owns it and it slowly got less offensive with more airtime.
Camille is so fake and vain!!! Shes so caught up in herself!! She is all about her her her.. If I were her husband I'd leave her too. She didn't even have her own children. She makes me sick. She's not even that attractive. Too plastic on the inside and out!!!
She is dillusional. If anyone were to actually say it, she would be speaking the truth. No wonder she's alone again! Such a fake. Who's husband loves women? Guess that would be Camille's!! Ha, ha!!!
I can't stand that idiot Camille. She is full of ****. No wonder Kelsey left her sorry ***.
I really was upset that Lisa made the comment she made at the DMV. I really thought she was better than that! Camille is soo stuck on herself she lied big time on Kyle and shes the one who is jealous of Kyle.... Camille if I were Kelsey I leave you too.
Camille has backed herself into a corner with lie after lie and now that she has cried wolf to all her awful friends she is too scared to own up to her faults! FAKE FAKE FAKE!!!! Come on! Nobody wants to be around a compulsive liar living in a science fiction world!
