'Skins' extended trailer makes us reconsider parenthood

Up until now, MTV has been giving us their most stylish video mash-ups of their American version of "Skins." The clips have generally been more about making the show look cool to viewers rather than showing us what kind of stories the show will be telling and why we should care about these kids.

In the new extended trailer, we get to learn a bit more about the show's main characters and what their major malfunctions may be. There's partying, self-loathing, and rampant sexuality (including some girl-on-girl action). And since the show is based on real stories and input from the show's Teen Advisory Group, there must be some kernel of truth to the stories.
