'Bones' preview: Hannah isn't what you would call 'maternal'
Remind us. Where does the episode count for Hannah (Katheryn Winnick) stand right about now? Because if the people who cut FOX promos are to be trusted, it sure seems like they're getting ready to push her out the door.
Rested up from a day off for Thanksgiving, "Bones" returns Dec. 2 with "The Twisted Bones in The Melted Truck."
There is the small matter of some mysterious melted bones, but all signs point to this being an episode for the shippers. Booth (David Boreanaz) is ready to introduce Hannah to his son, Parker, but she's decidedly less enthused.
"I'd feel more comfortable if he was a crooked senator," she says, reaffirming her status as serious journalist.

We rest our case -- at least until Thursday, when Hannah will likely win Parker over like she has everyone else. And in the meantime, a clip:

Hoping you have inside info and this is foreshadowing what is to come. No, Hannah has done nothing for us to hate her, except exist, but the show is so hard to watch this year, it is just painful. This arc does nothing to advance any storyline for the show and breaks our heart to see everyone estranged.
Mikey you kill me. Scrolled down and then that photo and then I laughed out loud. I may not even watch the show on a weekly basis (don't hurt me) anymore but I devour your recaps/posts.
I totally agree with skylakr66. I am not a fan of the whole Hannah story line! The last five seasons have had so much momentum to such a big climax which didn't go the way a lot of fans wanted to, myself included. This is the first season of Bones where I'm kind of dreading each episode because I know there is a separation between Booth and Brennan. My heart breaks when I see Booth and Brennan together but not "together". This season has been a let down, the only thing that's really holding me to the show and not making me turn the channel is Hodgins and Angela and their baby! I need B&B back together!!
Um, no. She's not on her way out the door any time soon. Just to let you know.
I don't think there's anything wrong with this season. Bones has a history of breaking our hearts a little, what with the killers so often being the most likeable of the suspects. It may be tough for the audience, but this is the necessary journey. When Brennan and Booth get together, it means the end of the show. I think a lot of people fail to consider this.
@ sCarr: That's a myth -- if done right, a show can easily continue after the leads hook up. Just check out Chuck, which is delivering its strongest eps yet !!
It doesn't hurt that they have both Linda Hamilton and Timothy Dalton as guest stars ;)
why is everyone assuming that all viewers want Booth and Brennan to be together already ?!?
I do not ! I like this season so much and i love the show mostly because it didn't rush into the average storyline on TV nowadays. I'm not a shipper, i just enjoy watching two people, especially Bones, deal with love and whatnot. They'll get to that point, or not, but stop whining to the writers ect...Hannah, as much as i dislike her, has a purpose in the storyline.
HANNAH should slap booth as hard as she can/before she walks out that door/for all the fans he has hurt with this storylined.
I don´t like much of this season so far. Don´t care about Hannah in anyway good or bad. She´s just a waste of time, taken away from the others.
I do not want to see her with Parker and i will not see anything where they pretend that she and Brennan is friends.
It´s Booth i can´t stand this season. Wish Brennan gave him a even bigger hit in the head then she did at the funeral for being such a jerk. Then she can get a new partner. That could spice up the show.
Why should Hannah slap Booth? Cause some fangirls are whiny feminist b**ches? For all purposes she loves Booth. They make a nice couple. It probably won't last, cause the endgame is Booth and Bones together, but I still like Hannah with Booth for now. It changes the dynamic of "Bones" and that's a good thing for a show in its 6th season. Drama and conflict are the crux of any tv show. Without them we would all be bored.
