'The Biggest Loser' host Alison Sweeney on Jillian Michaels leaving: 'I want what's best for her'
Personal trainer Jillian Michaels surprised her fans when she announced on Twitter that Season 11 will be her last on NBC's hit weight loss show, "The Biggest Loser," deciding not to renew her contract.
But, fans weren't the only ones who were surprised. Host Alison Sweeney may have known about her departure, but didn't know Jillian made the announcement when Zap2it spoke to her this morning (Friday, Dec. 10).
"I love Jill," Sweeney, 34, tells us. "She's an amazing trainer and an amazing person. I want her to be happy. I want what's best for her."
Apparently, Michaels is excited to be moving on and plans to start a family after working with the kids on her NBC show, "Losing It with Jillian." Sweeney, who has two children, fully supports Michaels' decision to have a baby.
"I think that's so awesome," Sweeney says. "She has always been so funny about my kids and I think she'd be an awesome, awesome parent. She's going to be great."

I'll miss Jillian. She always had forceful yet encouraging words for the contestants. Her words reached me as well. The advice she gave Ada about her family and wanting acceptance was spot on. I've taken what I've learned from The Biggest Loser [though I'm not overweight]. My self esteem has improved.
"May have knew..." What do you expect from someone named Jethro. Did you type that while sitting by the see-ment pond?
