'American Idol': Crystal Bowersox on way to outselling Lee DeWyze; David Archuleta not ready for relationship

David Archuleta is saying he won't be kissing anyone under the mistletoe this holiday season because he's not ready for a relationship."It's not just the career I'm focused on. It's just a matter of -- I haven't gone too into thinking about it, he explains. "It's not like, 'I need a relationship!' The time will come. I'll know when I'm ready and right now it's just not the time yet." Archie also reveals he'll be performing his song "Elevator" on FOX's "New Year's Live Special." [Latina Magazine]"American Idol" has released the first promo poster for Season 10, which features new judges Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler, returning host Randy Jackson and host Ryan Seacrest. The poster says, "Every Superstar begins with a dream," and shows Tyler leaping, Lopez curtsying, Jackson seemingly mid-dance move and Seacret just chilling out. [EW]
Season 9 runner-up Crystal Bowersox's album "Farmer's Daughter" is on its way to outselling Lee DeWyze's debut. She is projected to move between 45,000-50,000 copies, while DeWyze only sold 39,000. The combined totals of the two "Idols" records will still sell well below the total for any other 'Idol' pairing. [Headline Planet]
Bowersox performed in Harlem, New York to help with the first ever city-wide to drive ecent, "Holiday Joy" Toy Drive. She performed a selection of holidays songs as well as tracks off her new album She was joined by "Real Housewives of New York City's" Kelly Bensimon, Danielle Staub, and more to hand out toys to the city's children in need. Please get your facts straight about the sales for Lee Dewyze's debut. He sold close to 40K units the first week not 30K. Give the kid a break!

Good for Crystal. That's pretty impressive considering she doesn't have a single that is getting much/any radio play at the moment.
I wasn't aware Crystal had released her CD yet. When did it come out?
Although I have not heard debut songs from both Lee and Crystal on radio, I have seen more promos for Crystal than Lee. It surely shows in the album sales. But when you consider any promo expenses coming out of money they make, both of them won't have much profit.
Hope David sings 'something 'bout love', 'the other side of down' and 'good place'. I love him but NO elevator please! I'll try to get in to the mandalay to see him live hope they don't check Id!
Idol so busy promoting itself, didn't do much to further their top two S9 contestants. Anymore, it is a lot more about the show, the judges than about the contestants. Are they going to repeat last year?
I was really disappointed with Mamasox using swear words in the lyrics of several of her songs. She has a great voice and I wanted to be a lifetime fan, but why did she choose so many country tracks? Did someone suggest her hard life would go better with country music? What happened to the bluesy soul stuff I loved on AI? Didn't like Lee's CD either, blah and boring. I'm still hoping for a season I liked as much as the "Double DD's."
Crystal's album outsell Lee's album? Nothing against Crystal, but don't count your chickens before they hatch. Just sayin.
Crystal got a really nice interview on public radio and they played parts of a number of her tracks. Nice bump.
