A&E done hassling with the Hoff, pulls 'Hasselhoffs' after two episodes
Contrary to what the "Baywatch" theme song would have you believe, David Hasselhoff will not be there. A&E removed his freshman reality series, "The Hasselhoffs," from its schedule after just two episodes. Vulture reports that while A&E is declining from going so far as to refer to the show as "canceled," it also won't be airing any further episodes on television -- so you can put two and two together.
"The Hasselhoffs," a fly-on-the-wall look at Hasselhoff, his two daughters and their dog, aired two back-to-back episodes on Sunday, Dec. 5. The first half-hour episode averaged 718,000 viewers, with the second only managing to bring in 505,000 viewers. Ouch.
To give you an idea just how depressingly bad this news must be for the Hoff, this decision came down by the same network currently airing its fifth season of "Gene Simmons: Family Jewels."

Hey, I like Gene Simmons' show!!!
And yet A&E keeps that KISS retread and go-maniac and the Hoff gets bounced after two airings. Could care less about either show but A&E is really faling at the seems since going in this new direction with more reality.
I like gene simmons family jewels its pretty funny. And im pretty sure it gets wayyyyy better ratings than what the hoffs show got.

First he was the first celeb voted off DWTS and now his show is pulled after two episodes. Not a good year for the Hoff.
Count me in as another person who actually enjoys Family Jewels, though I haven't watched it in a while.
Gene Simmons may have an ego the size of Manhattan but he is a consumate businessman as well, and he and Shannon have actually raised their children well even in the limelight of the rock world. Hasselhoff, meh, he's just looking for a way to keep his mug on TV. Honestly, does he actually work at anything? I think that he tarnished his image for good a few years ago when they released the footage of him shot by his own daughter of him drunk as a skunk on the floor! That's just pathetic! I'm glad they "cancelled" his a**. But will he learn from this? Probably not!
