Oprah Winfrey Network unveils schedule, including Judd and O'Neal reality series

Oprah Winfrey is banking on resolutions for 2011 including a commitment to her new channel. OWN launches at 12 p.m. ET. Jan. 1, and the network's newly unveiled schedule includes two new reality ventures from tumultuous celebrity families.

"The Judds" will follow country music mother/daughter duo Naomi and Wynonna Judd preparing for their first tour in a decade while exploring their "complex relationship." There's no word on any possible involvement from Ashley, the more subdued Judd.

Also acquired by OWN: "Ryan and Tatum: The O'Neals," the docu-drama first reported on in August. The series focuses on the long-estranged father and daughter's attempt to rebuild their relationship by moving in together and attending therapy.

"We're excited these two iconic families are allowing us to chronicle their personal stories as they embark on new chapters," says OWN chief creative officer Lisa Erspamer of the two series which will debut later in 2011. "We think our viewers will relate to the complex and dynamic relationships of Wynonna and Naomi Judd and Ryan and Tatum O'Neal."

When the network debuts on New Year's Day, it will begin with an hour-long introduction from Winfrey herself. Here's a look at the inaugural schedule and programming highlights released by the network:

Trading Spaces! Hell yeah! I've been dying to see an episode for months. Thanks O.

Folks: Question; When Oprah (OWN) going public.
I would like to make it part of my portfolio and offered to members of the Bronx community.

Thank you.

Please don't take Discovery Health off. I listen to it as often as possible. There is nothing else to do during the day except Animal Planet that I watch. I am 81 years old, and there is nothing to watch but Discovery Health and Animal Planet.

I think your post was secretly a good start to a potential series of posts about this topic. A lot of people pretend to know what they’re talking about when it comes to this topic and generally, very few people actually get it. You seem to know about it however, so I think you should run with it. Thanks!
