'MythBusters' gets an executive order from Barack Obama

The "MythBusters" have already tackled the myth of the Archimedes solar ray -- but not to the satisfaction of the man in charge. As in, THE man in charge.President Obama makes a special appearance on the Discovery Channel show on Dec. 8 to ask Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman to give the myth another run. The notion is that the Greek scientist was able to use an array of mirrors to focus sunlight on Roman ships, causing them to catch fire.
Savage and Hyneman tested it out in a 2006 episode and declared the myth "busted," but fans -- including the president -- have wanted to see them give it another try.

I think the fact that the President himself is a fan of the Mythbusters makes my respect for him go up about fifty points. Viva la Mythbusters!

Maybe they can take on the myth that Obama deserved a Nobel Peace Prize for doing....what again, exactly?

What could possibly be more important than SCIENCE
(note: SCIENCE is different from science or Science in that it more often involves things exploding and is generally more awesome)
Are they gonna get a DARPA-level budget to test the myth with? :)
If my memory is correct this theory has already been put to the test at the actual historical site and was found to be possible to do.
