Mary Tyler Moore reunites with Betty White for 'Hot in Cleveland' premiere
Be still our TV-loving hearts. Mary Richards and Sue Ann Nivens are getting back together, 33 years after leaving WJM.
Sort of.
Icon Mary Tyler Moore just signed on for a guest spot on former "Mary Tyler Moore Show" co-star Betty White's TV Land throwback, "Hot in Cleveland." This marks the first occasion the two have appeared on screen together since "TMTMS" ended its seven-season run in 1977.
TV Land says Moore will guest star on the Jan. 19 Season 2 premiere of "Cleveland," and though they won't offer up any details on the character she'll be playing, it will involve White's Elka.
Elka, you may remember, was arrested in the Season 1 finale when a cop noticed stolen jewelery in her home. And we can't imagine that's the only charges they could come up with. Last time we checked, legalizing marijuana was not a ballot initiative in Ohio.
Are you even half as excited as we are about this development?

Elka Needs a Lawyer! i believe Mary Tyler Moore will fit the part, I see her playing an over the top version of Gloria Allred.
I'm VERY excited about this! Mary Tyler Moore is an outstanding talent, and any thing that brings her back to my TV screen is most welcome indeed!
I grew up with the TMTMS and loved Mary Tyler Moore. I look forward to seeing them together on screen again.
