'Dark Blue' canceled after two seasons
TNT has bid adieu to "Dark Blue."The cable network has canceled the cop drama after only two seasons, according to The Futon Critic. Its final episode aired on Sept. 15, and TNT has decided not to renew the series for a third season.
The series centers on a crack undercover team of LAPD officer led by Carter Shaw (Dylan McDermott). "Battlestar Galactica's" Tricia Helfer joined on for the second season, which ran 10 episodes and averaged 2.25 million viewers and a 0.6 rating in the 18-49 adult demo.
The network's other offerings like "The Closer" (7.18 million) and "Rizzoli & Isles" (6.92 million) consistently draw in more viewers. The second-lowest rated show is "Hawthorne," which still draws 3.09 million and just hired a new showrunner.

I'm bummed by the cancellation. I really enjoyed Dark Blue.
Horrible news, I love this show!!!
Seriously, is NBC in charge of TNT now?
Why do these networks keep cancelling entertaining shows?
No great loss in my opinion. Now bring on Southland.

Really liked Dark Blue. I thought it was one of the better shows on TNT.
I liked this show, I'm not sure why it never drew a larger audience. I kind of expected this, so im not too dissapointed. Waiting on that Franklin & Bash show to premiere(when is that happening?)..
I thought this show was shockingly bad and was stunned it managed to get renewed last year with how poor it ratings were. So it's no surprise to me that it's been cancelled this year.
I wish to see Tricia Helfer in something again very soon however. I miss seeing her on tv.
I had been meaning to give this show a try but never got around to it. Guess I'm glad I didn't bother...
Not too surprised by Dark Blue's cancellation.
And there's nothing wrong with Southland.
