AMAs 2010: New Kids on the Block + Backstreet Boys = NKOTBSB

The original boy band New Kids on the Block took to the stage at the 2010 American Music Awards with the boy band of our own personal high school years, the Backstreet Boys. It was ... let's just say we like picturing Justin Timberlake watching at home, rolling around naked on his piles of money and laughing his butt off.Don't get us wrong -- the nostalgia factor was delightful. But the vocals were pretty rough, especially for the New Kids. We were glad to see all five of them there though -- we weren't sure if "Blue Bloods" would give Donnie the time off to come rock it "Hangin' Tough"-style.
Speaking of the songs, we also loved the sometimes-awkward mash-up of "Backstreet's Back," "Hangin' Tough," "The Right Stuff," "Larger Than Life" and "Step by Step." We also thought the dance moves were hot -- all the guys still go moves. It was no Adam Lambert performance from 2009, but it was a pretty great way to end the show. MASH-UP/MEDLY OF THE SONGS WE'RE STUPENDOUS. (great way to mix up everyones song)
THE GUYS DID THEIR THAANG & SLAUGHTERED IT.
THEY WERE THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE *KNIGHT
COULDNT HAVE ASKED FOR ANYTHING BETTER.
EVEN MORE EXCITED TO SEE THEM IN CONCERT NEXT YEAR.
& IM ONLY 16. BUT I STILL LOVE THESE GUYS TO DEATH. IM A DIE HARD FAN. GOT POSTERS AND EVERYTHING.

I loved both boybands back in the day but I have to respectfully disagree that the NKOTB gave the less impressive vocals. Did you hear Brian or AJ?

I thought it was amazing. I have been a fan of both groups for years and would love to see them perform in concert. Their performance made the show for me. As for Justin Timberlake, I am saddened that he feels like he is too good to hang with the group that helped make him what he is today.
